I felt as if thunder struck me.
The glass broke down and blood red painted my hands.
For a moment, I froze,
not knowing what to do.
"Catch me..."
The same two words resounded in my mind,
calling, alluring, bewitching
my mind.
I had to escape.
My eyes were set on the white silhouette in the crowd.
The same black haired girl I could not save earlier
in time.
It was her.
Black hair, blue eyes.
White gown.
I had to hurry.
I had to hurry and save her
before her calling ended.
I had to.
This time, I really had to save her life.
For sure.
Regardless of what happened,
regardless of my circumstances,
I had to save her.
Chapter 37:
"Hey, calm down!"
A pair of hands pushed me back into the seat and a voice that wanted itself calm,
repeated:
"Stay still."
My vision turned blurry as everything around me seemed to pick up the pace.
I felt like a blind dog
struggling to find its wounded master.
I desperately looked around,
trying to spot her figure
but it was all in vain.
The crowd started moving
and she was no longer there.
I felt suffocated.
My breath run short
and my heartbeat quickened to the extent
I felt it no more.
Chapter 38:
"You're hurt.
Please stop moving around."
A large hand pressed on my shoulder and a looming shadow covered me from the other side of the door with the broken window.
"Just stay there and don't move."
