I was thinking about the letter I wrote you
and I suppose it's not your fault entirely
that you ignored it
but
if i was given
one lengthy letter
explaining
someone's thoughts and feelings for me
and if i didn't feel the same way
i probably wouldn't know what to say
either,
but i would know to say something
because staying quiet is one of the worst responses
it just creates confusion, illusion and false hope
it leads to pain
so saying nothing
to that letter they so bravely gave
would be the last thing anyone should do
