Our Adventure Awaits Us [COMPLETED]

The piano of bones

I don't have the script to go by anymore so this is just by memory. I'm sorry if I mess up.

We rushed into the next tunnel while trying to keep our breathing steady. So much was happening all at once and I didn't want to deal with it.

We came across a log reaching out along a sort of river. All of us carefully (but quickly) walked across it, to the other side. Data was the last one to cross, and he was being very slow about it.

"Come on, Data! Hurry up!" I yelled. He put his finger up. "Slick shoes!" He told us. "Data! We don't have time for your silly contraptions! They have a gun!"

Data's shoes started leaking what seemed to be ink or oil. He slowly walked across the log to make sure that it was completely turned slippery.

The rest of us turned to the cave in front of us. Before us, was a very creepy looking skeleton. The skeleton was secured to something like a church organ. "Holy frickin shits..." I whispered. "That's creepy as hell"

"So what are we supposed to do, here?" Brand asked. "It looks like a piano or a church organ. Maybe we have to play it?" Mikey suggested.

Mouth looked at me as he took the map from Mikey. I was still mad at him even through all this Fratelli crap. He translated what the map said.

"That's it! We have to play the bones to escape! But where are the notes?" Mikey asked. I took the map from my cousin and flipped it over. "Here." I showed them.

"Who knows how to play the piano?" Brian asked. Oh. I forgot he existed. Andi slowly raised her hand. "Good, good." I said. "Do you recognize these notes?"

"I learned when I was four, so I'm probably rusty." Andi studied the notes. "This is nothing like my mothers style." She worriedly told us. "No, it's okay. As long as you know what you're doing."

Andi placed the map on the top of the piano. She squinted at the first note. "O-Okay. Here we go..." Andi played the first note correctly. To the right of us, a small stone door opened a bit. I internally cheered.

Andi played the next note. A horrible sound came from the piano and behind us, Mouth fell. A piece of the floor had collapsed underneath his feet. Brand caught his arm and pulled him back up.

We held our breaths as she played the next note. It was wrong again and the floor underneath Brandon collapsed. I along with Stef pulled him up.

"I can't do this! I don't know if this note is an A sharp or a B flat!" Andi exclaimed. "Hey, if you get it wrong we'll all be flat!" Mikey joked. I stared him down to make him understand that now isn't the time to be making jokes. He nodded his head.

Andi played the next two notes correctly and we all cheered as the door opened completely. Data was yelling in the background, again. "Guys! They're here!" He exclaimed.

We all rushed out through the door as we saw the Fratelli's guns pointed at us. I screamed and ushered everyone ahead of me since I was being pointed at directly. Andi ran back to grab the map. I sighed a breath of relief that she had remembered to grab it.

I looked back at the Fratellis right as one of the brothers shot at us. The bullet slightly skimmed my leg, but I was thankful that he had very bad aim otherwise it would've been way worse.

I ran down the tunnel and tripped as water gushed down from below my feet. I screamed as I was pushed down some sort of tunnel-slide. It was kind of fun, so I laughed while enjoying the short moment.

After a minute, I reached the end of the tunnel and was shot out into a big pool of water. Beside me, Brand was shot out of another water slide. "Holy shit!" He yelled. We kasplooshed into the water. It was shallow enough that we could stand in it.

A few seconds later, Mikey was shot out of the water slide. He was laughing and screaming all sorts of curses at the same time. He waded in the water and reached me. We hugged and laughed, and so did everyone else.

Mikey then let go from the embrace. "Holy shit..." he trailed off. I turned around to see what he was looking at.

Ahhh! This is going to be my favourite part to write because guess what? Adjectives! I'm going to be so happy to describe the ship. Now go read the next chapter!
