One last glance at the mirror, I walked out of my room.
"Shall we?" I asked Yahaya that was standing by the car, his legs crossed
Yahaya unlocked the car "yes sure"
I walked into the hospital with Yahaya right behind me
"Good afternoon Ummi" we greeted Ummi, she was feeding Sadiya and i smiled
Girl! Your mother in law is feeding you. Goals
Ummi passed me a paper "Abdullah can you please get this from the pharmacy"
"Btw, where is Rayhan?" Ummi asked as I collected the paper
"She's at home, Yahaya will pick her up later" and the type of eyeing I received told me he isn't moving an inch from this place
Sorry Yaya! I said internally before leaving to the pharmacy
When i came back, i only met Sadiya so I dropped the Augmentin i just bought
"Babe" i called happily
"Yes b" she said trying to sit
"How're you feeling?" I asked
"Fine Alhamdulillah" she replied
"I saw your mother in law feeding you" i said winking
"Yen yen yen! She's my mother in law and still my mother" she laughed "And please don't allow Ummi to hear the mother in law part"
"Yeah right, we keeping it low but in the next three-four years i will seek for your hand in marriage" i said looking nothing but serious
And by Allah i want to get married to her. When i noticed the cute smile on her face. I smiled
"Babe forget about the one year gap between us" i said dragging a chair and sitting right beside her
"Yes b, one year eight months gap" she said smiling widely. How crazy? I thought
"Where is Ummi and Yahaya?" I asked looking down at my Apple watch. Almost an hour since i came back from the pharmacy
"Oh ummi went to the Masjid and your Yaya followed suit"
Abdullah laughed. He surely wants something, now I'm hundred percent sure.
"Yo habibi! What're you thinking of?" Sadiya snapped her fingers
Just then, Ummi came into the room with a Salaam and we answered in unison.
"So what are you two discussing?" Ummi asked adjusting her grey hijab.
Abdullah smiled mischievously "Just planning on how to kidnap your cute daughter"
"You're surely not doing that, not now nor forever"
The laughter that erupted inside the room died down when Yahaya came into the room saying he will pick Baba up from the airport.
