Y/n's pov.  

I take a bite of the french fries and moan in pleasure as I taste the saltines in my mouth.

" I love you " I said.

" Are you talking to me or the fries? " Vylad asked.

" Do you want me to lie to you? " I asked, he raise a brow, I smile.

" Thank you, I love you too " I peck Vylad on his lips and he sit down on the chair as I sit down on my bed.

" I'm so hungry " I said.

" It's been two months since Gem moved out, how are you holding up? " He asked.

" Honestly, it's better actually, not bossing anyone around, less cleaning, less stress " I said and take a sip of the F/d drink.

" Glad it's helping " he said, I shrugged and continue to eat.

" I do miss her too though, the place has been too quiet " I said.

" And that's why I moved in " he steals one of my fries, I whine.

" How's the deadline you've been working on? " I asked.

" I passed it up this morning " he said, I hummed.

" Later tonight, I'm going to Laurence's place with Jacqueline to do some research " he said.

" Jacqueline? " I asked.

" Laurence's girlfriend, we're going to do a research on a guy named Jacob " he said.

" Who's that? " I asked.

" Some guy we need to do a mission on " he said.

" Alright, uhh, let me chow down in some waffles then I'll help with the search, ow! " I place my hand on my stomach when I felt a kick.

" Oh " I place my hand on the side of my stomach.

" The baby kicking again? " He asked, I nodded.

" Yeah just–ow! " I chuckled in pain.

" Yeah that was not very nice–agh! " I gritted my teeth.

" You alright? " He asked.

" Yeah, I think should just. . . . I'm just gonna stand up for a second " I stood up as I take a breath in between.

The pain slowly decreases.

" Okay " I said and sit back down.

" That was longer than before " he said.

" The due date is in three weeks " I said.

" We did had a baby shower two days ago, you walked around a lot, baby can be early " he said.

" Yeah " I take another deep breath.

I shut my eyes enduring a small pain on my left.

" I'm just going to lie down on the couch "

" Jacqueline " the girl with red dyed hair and dark brown eyes shake my hands.

" Y/n " I smile.

" Laurence told me your pregnant, when is the due date? " She asked.

" In three weeks " I said.

" Hope for the best " she said and we walk into the living room where I see stacks of papers all over the table and papers.

" Sorry, it's a mess " she said and I sit down on the couch.
