Luke Skywalker stands on the cloudy planet of Bespin. He looks around him as he hears the cries of Han, Leia, and Chewbacca. He runs towards the sound of their voices but stops when he hears your scream pierce through the air. He turns on his heel to see Vader, holding his red lightsaber to your throat. "Only by succumbing to the Dark Side can you save her."
Luke's eyes fly open the vision fades. "Han. Leia. ____." He loses his balance and drops boxes, rocks, and a floating R2D2.
Yoda shakes his head, "Control. You must learn control."
"I-I saw a city in the clouds," Luke breaths out.
Yoda nods and hums, "Friends you have there."
"They were in pain." He attempts to sit up.
"It's the future you see." Yoda explains.
"The future?" Luke repeats. He quickly stands to his feet and asks worriedly, "Will they die?"
Yoda closes his eyes and and reaches out through the Force. After a moment, Yoda says, "Difficult to see. Always in motion the future is."
Immediately, Luke responds, "I've got to go to them." He begins to walk towards Yoda's small hut.
"Decide you must how to serve them best," Yoda says cryptically. Luke stops in his tracks. "If you leave now, help them you could, but you would destroy all for which they have fought and suffered." Luke turns around, contemplating his choices. Finally, he nods, agreeing with the Jedi Master.
Meanwhile, Han, Leia, Chewbacca, and yourself fly through the clouds of Bespin. Han tries to reason with Cloud City officials. You roll you're eyes. I thought he had connections here. That's what he told us before flying all this way. "No, I don't have a landing permit. I'm trying to reach Lando Calrissian." The two club cars escorting the Millennium Falcon open fire. "Wait a minute!" Han exclaims, "Let me explain!"
Leia voices what you were thinking. "I thought you knew this person."
Chewbacca starts chattering. Han responds, "Well that was a long time ago. I'm sure he's forgotten about that." You and Leia share a look of concern.
Finally, an official grants the Falcon permission to land. "Nothing to worry about. Me and Lando go way back."
Leia sarcastically asks, "Who's worried."
Han pilots the Falcon to the landing platform where he attempts to reassure you and Leia. You look to Leia, "I don't like this."
     "Me either."
Han walks over to where Chewie stands, waiting for Lando, "Keep your eyes open." He then takes a few steps forward, opens his arms, and says, "Hey."
Lando, a darker-skinned man with a long flowing cape approached Han, but starts off by saying, "Why you slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindler. You've got a lot of guts coming here after what you pulled."
Han acts surprised and points to himself. Lando takes a few steps forward, then wraps Han in a hug. Han raises his arms as if he was about to be punched. Lando laughs, "How you doin you old pirate? So good to see you!" Lando's escort leaves the platform.
C3PO says to you and Leia excitedly, "He seems friendly."
     "Very," You respond.
"Very friendly," Leia agrees. Together, you walk over to where Han stands, still talking to Lando.
"What are you doing here?" Lando asks.
"Ah, repairs. I thought you could help me out."
"What have you done to my ship?" Lando asks somewhat suspiciously.
"Your ship? Hey, remember you lost it to me fair and square." Han reminds him.
Lando acknowledges Chewbacca, "How you doin, Chewbacca? Still hanging around with this loser?" Chewbacca chuckles.
That when he takes notice of Leia. You remain behind Chewie. "Hello. What have we here." You walk out from behind Chewie. Lando notices you as well. He takes a few step closer to you and Leia. "Welcome to Cloud City. I'm Lando Calrissian. I'm the administrator of this facility. And who might you be?" He directs mostly towards Leia.
She just responds with her first name, "Leia." You do the same.
He kisses her hand, "Welcome, Leia." You notice Han become somewhat defensive.
"All right, all right, you old smoothie." The two of them walk arm in arm into the facility. Lando turns to you and offeres his arm, but you politely shake your head. He nods and follows after Han and Leia. C3PO attempts to introduce himself, but is cut off when Lando simply walks away.
You turn to the golden droid, "Don't worry about it Threepio, he just got distracted." You try to reassure him. You quickly catch up to the others. While they talk about the facility, you let your mind wander to Luke. I wonder how his training is going. Surely it's going better than a broken hyperdrive, a flight through an asteroid field, and a need to take refuge on a mining facility under the jurisdiction of a man you don't trust.
Lando leads you to a room where you can relax while he makes arrangements. Leia changes into a new outfit and You help her with her hair. "Are you not going to change too?" She asks.
You shake your head. "I think I'd rather stay in this." You signal to your current outfit, one of your Rebel uniforms.
She rolls her eyes, "Come on. Let's find something for you."
You let out a sigh, "Fine, as long as it has pants."
Back on Dagobah, Luke packs his belongings and places them inside his X-Wing. He situates Artoo, throws the final bag into the cockpit, and begins climbing in the cockpit. Yoda watches from the swampy floor below. "Luke, you must complete the training."
Luke sighs and says quickly, "I can't get the vision out of my head. They're my friends I've got to help them."
Yoda tried once more to warn the blonde-haired boy, "You must not go."
He climbs down the X-Wing and argues, "____, Han, and Leia will die if I don't."
"You don't know that," a familiar voice chimes in, "Not even Yoda can see their fate."
"But I can help them. I feel the Force."
The Force-ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi shakes his head, "But you cannot control it." Frustrated, Luke leans on his ship. Obi-Wan continues, "This is a dangerous time for you when you will be tempted by the dark side of the Force."
Yoda agrees, "Yes! Yes! To Obi-Wan you listen. The cave. Remember your failure at the cave."
"But I've learned so much since then. Master Yoda, I promise to return and to finish what I've begun." Luke tends to some power cords under his ship. "You have my word."
Yoda just hangs his head. Obi-Wan tries once more to persuade Luke to stay, "It's you and your abilities that the Emperor wants. That is why your friends are made to suffer."
Luke looks up from his work with a serious expression, "That's why I have to go."
Even Obi-Wan starts to become agitated, "Luke, I don't want to lose you to the Emperor the way I lost Vader."
     "You won't," Luke responds confidently.
Yoda looks up, "Stopped they must be. On this all depends. Only a full Jedi-Knight, with the Force as his ally, will conquer Vader and his Emperor." Luke finishes cleaning off creatures and muck from his ship while Yoda speaks, "If you leave now, if you choose the quick and easy path, as Vader did, you will become an agent of evil."
     "Patience," Kenobi agrees.
Luke turns to face them, "And sacrifice ____, Han, and Leia?"
Yoda nods, "If you honor what they fight for...yes."
Obi-Wan adds, "If you choose to face Vader, you will do it alone. I cannot interfere."
Luke ponders it for a moment, and with a slight nod he say, "I understand." Yoda's eyes widen at the boy's response. "R2, fire up the converters." Luke climbs into the cockpit and pulls in his flight helmet.
Obi-Wan lifts his hands, "Luke, don't give into hate. That leads to the dark side."
Luke lifts his head. Yoda continues, "Strong is Vader. Mind what you have learned. Save it you can."
"I will. And I'll return." The cockpit closes down on Luke as the engines fire up. "I promise."
With that, Luke takes off. I'm coming, ____. Hold on.
