Dean and you go for a walk while Sam interviews people for a case and you end up talking about his job

You are Dean's daughter in this one and you're around 5 years old (also in third POV for once)
___________

With her eyes still closed, y/n feels someone gently stroking her cheek. "Y/n, sweetie. Come on, wake up" He sighs. She groans in response "Daddy, no". "Shh, I know, baby. I'm sorry" He replies. Y/n slowly opens her eyes and sees her dad's face hovering over her. She frowns "No, daddy. Too early". "I know, sweetie. Come on" He sighs. She pouts, reaching up to put her hand on his cheek. He chuckles softly "C'mon, baby". She sits up so he can pick her up, then sits her on his hip. She wraps her arms around his shoulders, burying her face into his chest as he carries her out of the room. "Where's uncle Sammy?" She mumbles into his shirt. "He's waiting at the diner for us, sweetie" He replies.

By the time they get to the diner, y/n has woken up a bit but she still keeps her face buried in his chest. In a few minutes, she feels him sit her in a booth before sliding in next to her. Sam smiles sympathetically "Sorry, y/n". She shrugs, yawning before leaning on the table. Dean chuckles, shaking his head at his daughter. When the waitress comes over, Dean orders the usual for y/n. Chocolate chip pancakes with apple juice. He gets himself a roll with sausage and bacon while Sam gets a fruit salad. Y/n turns her head to look out the window beside her, just watching. While the brothers talk about a new case, she tunes out until the waitress returns with their food. After eating (and paying), they get up to leave and y/n follows them out of the diner. She's rather short for her age, that's why she gets carried all the time, she knows that Dean would never leave her behind under any circumstances, especially since he knows what's out there. Y/n is aware of what her dad and uncle do, she's had to be a part of it many times. It's scary for a five year old and Dean would leave her in a safe motel room if he could. But he hates leaving her to solve a case. He knows that the safest place for her to be is with him.

Sam and Dean stop at the car, the latter turning to his daughter, who is still walking. He chuckles lightly "Aw, c'mere sweetheart". She runs the rest of the way towards him and he picks her up before sitting her on the bonnet of the Impala. Sam gasps "You barely let me inside the car, and you let her sit on the bonnet". Dean grins at his brother, feeling his daughter grab his hand. "Yes, Sammy. I do" He smirks, watching him roll his eyes "Alright, I'm going to try and get more information on this". Dean nods "Okay". Y/n waves her uncle goodbye and watches him leave until she can't see him anymore. Her attention goes back to her dad when she feels his hand under her chin. "I'm sorry for waking you up, baby" He sighs. She carefully stands up, knowing she'll be in trouble if she dents the car, using her dad's arm as support. "It's okay, daddy" She replies, making him smile as he lets her lean against his chest. This is his favourite part of being a father. Moments like this. He just can't believe what her mother is missing out on. With that thought, he hugs her close to him. He kisses her head softly. "Daddy" She whispers. "Yeah, sweetie?" He replies as she looks up at him with a heart melting smile "Hi". He grins, chuckling softly "Hi, baby". He tickles her side a bit, causing her to giggle. "Alright, remember what I taught you?" He sighs. She sticks out her tongue, shaking her head "No chick flick moments". He smiles "That's right, but what else did I say?". Y/n blushes lightly, shyly avoiding her dad's gaze "Only daddy/daughter moments". He chuckles, nodding "Yeah". "Look at me, baby" He sighs and she does as told, meeting the familiar green eyes. He rubs his thumb over the back of her hand and smiles slightly "I love you, y/n". "I love you too, daddy" She mumbles. "Here, uncle Sammy won't be back for a while. Wanna go for a walk?" He asks and she pouts, which makes him chuckle. "I'll give you a piggy back ride" He persuades. Her face brightens and she nods enthusiastically. He smiles, then turns around. Y/n wraps her arms around his shoulders from behind and he lifts her up by the backs of her legs, getting her to wrap them around his waist. Then he picks her up and she holds on to him before resting her chin on his shoulder.

Dean starts walking with his daughter hanging from his back. He smiles, then heads in the direction of the nearest park. "Daddy" She speaks up. "Yeah, baby?" He replies. She giggles "Hi". He rolls his eyes, she did this a lot. He figured it's some kind of toddler phase. But he plays along to keep her amused. "Hi" He chuckles as they enter the park. Not many people are there since it's still early in the morning. Some kids are there with their parents, probably on their way to school. "Daddy" She speaks up again and he sighs, expecting her to say hi again, he was surprised when she asked a question. "Why does no one else see the scary monsters?" She mumbles into his shoulder. He sighs "Um, well… sweetie, because they don't know where to look for them". She frowns "Why do we look for them?". He shrugs "To save those people who don't know where to look". He feels her bury her face into the crook of his neck and his heart shatters when he feels her frown. It breaks his heart any time he sees her upset. She's got him wrapped around her little finger. "Baby, please stop pouting. You know what it does to me" He sighs. She sighs "Monsters are scary". He nods "Yeah... yeah, they are".
