Chapter 34

After a long nap, I woke up.

Hero is watching movies, but I ignore him.

I look at the flight status and I see that we're landing in LA in 2 hours.

A flight attendant makes my table, and she hands me a menu for dinner.

I look at it and after a few minutes I'm ready to order.

"What would you like Miss?" the flight attendant asks.

"I would like the Cesar salad, the salmon and the raspberry pie. Also, I want a glass of champagne" I say, and she takes my order.

I don't know what Hero has ordered but I don't care.

I see the sunset from my window, and I decide to take a picture.

"This is beautiful" I say to myself while I admire the view.

A few minutes later

My dinner arrives and the flight attendant puts my dishes on the table, and I thank her.

I grab a bite of my salad and it's so delicious that I finish the plate in 2 seconds.

I started to eat my salmon and it's delicious. I drink my glass of champagne with it.

Finally, I eat my raspberry pie, I'm full after all those dishes.

After enjoying my dinner, a flight attendant picks up my plates and cleans my table.

I checked the flight status and we're about to land in LA in 1 hour.

A few hours later

The plane lands in LA after a 12-hour flight.

I look down at my watch and it's 2 am in the morning.

I disembarked the plane and Hero was behind me.

"Happy to be back in the US?" Hero asks.

"Absolutely not" I say in my sleepy voice.

"Why?" he asks.

"I prefer Hong Kong" I say.

"Well, I guess that I'm the only one who is happy to be back" Hero says and I nod.

We walked to the luggage claim area.

When we arrived, our luggage wasn't there yet.

"I have some information to tell you" Anna says.

"Thank you all for this amazing promo tour of After We Collided, I'm so proud of you" Anna says and we all clap.

"Tomorrow there is a party at the studio at 5pm, so have time to rest," Anna says and we nod.

Our luggage arrives and I pick up my bags.

We're all escorted by security to the outside of the terminal.

I get in the first cab, and I leave for my apartment.

Hero took another cab, and he went back to his apartment.

The drive is not long, so I decide to take out my phone and I see that I have dozens of messages from Nicolas.

I reply to him by saying that the plane ride back home went well, I miss Hong Kong so much.

A few minutes later

The cab arrives at my apartment, I pay the driver and I get out.

I pick up my bags and Nicolas's gift and I enter the building.
