Spencer's POV
I whipped the tears off my face and applied a little more make up so it doesn't look like I've been crying. I run down stairs with a goofy smile on my face because I know that even tho I had to break up with Ryan I have Toby and he's all I need. I run up to Toby and wrap my arms around his neck in a tight embrace. I look deeply into his crystal blue eyes and kiss him without any regrets. He kisses me back at first but then pushes me off him.
"Spencer your with Ryan, I can't." Toby said
"Toby I broke up with him okay that what I had to do-" I didn't get to finish my sentence because he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me back. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he pushed me into the wall, while his lips where still on mine. I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist. Our lips moving perfectly in sync. Everything was perfect in that moment. I felt happy with Toby and I finally had something to call home. And that home was Toby Cavanaugh.
Toby's POV
I pull away and set Spencer down on the ground. She looks at me confused as I lead her out her back door into her yard.
"What are we doing out here it's 3am?"
"Just stay here." I said walking away smiling.
"Wait where are you going?"
"Just listen to me." I say.
"Okay but hurry up." She says.
I walk over to the side of her house and turn on her sprinklers I hear her scream and I laugh as I watch her run.
"What was that for?" She asks obviously not amused.
"Seriously?" I ask "Well then you are not going to enjoy this at all."
I pick her up and sling her over my should and walk into the sprinklers while she is shrieking and laughing.
"Put me down right now Toby Cavanaugh!"
"Ok if you say so." I say and lay her right in the wet grass.
"Toby Cavanaugh you are in so much trouble!"
She says laughing.
"Not if you can't catch me." I say running away.
She gets up and runs after me. I fake slip and fall on the ground and I see Spencer run over to me and I close my eyes.
"Oh my god Toby are you okay? Toby? TOBY?!"
I open my eyes and knock her over and tickle her in the one place she never likes to be tickled. Her stomach.
"YOU LITTLE FAKER!" She says laughing so hard she can barley breath while, flopping around like a fish out of water.
I sit down next to her and we just lay there while the water pours down on us.
"I love you so much Toby Cavanaugh."
"What did you say ?" I ask already knowing what she said I just want to hear her say it again.
"Come on you know what I said." She says looking over at me realizing exactly what I'm doing.
No, I'm not exactly sure what you said." I say climbing on top of her.
"I'm pretty sure you did." She says trying to keep a straight face but I see a smile in her eyes and her trying not to laugh.
"I said I love you, you big pain in the ass."
She says wrapping her legs around me and I lean down and I kiss her. The water sprinkling down on her makes her look so beautiful.
All of the sudden the sprinklers turn off.
"Oh yeah I forgot it's on a timer I will be right back." She says and walks over to it.
I watch as she walks away smiling. She has a good heart. She really does. It just has been broken a lot and she chose me to fix it. I'm lost in my thoughts when I hear the worst sound. The sound of the person I love most in this world screaming. I run over to her faster then I though I could run and I see her. Pail. Not moving. But she looks fine but that was until I looked in front of us and saw a body. A body of the person who was nothing but good to Spencer. He had a rope tied around his throat and in blood on his forehead it said.
You love one, you lose one
OMG what did I just write. I'm sick and my mom is going to still make me go to cheer practice smh.
