Hey guys!
Thank you so much for choosing this story. I appreciate it. It's the first book I wrote on wattpad and well... *laughs nervously*
So in light of that, this book is currently under editing and some chapters may be in a different tense as I am completely changing this book from past to present tense.
Enjoy!
But before you do, if you're also looking for a book that does not make me laugh nervously you can check this one out. It'll be much appreciated since I really think this book has shown drastic improvement from my first.
It is a bit different from what I usually write so I'd really love your feedback.
Description👇
They say sometimes you have to do things you don't want to. They say desperate times call for desperate measures. They even say blood is thicker than water.Even if I suck in my pride and marry this unknown man, will it really be worth it? I've been asking myself this ever since I said I do because this man truly pushes my buttons. He isn't exactly the warmest or easiest to deal with. I'm not exactly the most patient either. We're like a match made in heaven, aren't we?
"Darson Meldeev, CEO of the Meldeev Corporation, 6"3 in height, 23 years old." He recites as if practiced a million times. I roll my eyes.
"That's general knowledge." I point out. We are newlyweds for crying out loud. Is our marriage supposed to thrive on that bit of information?
"It's all the knowledge you'll get." He responds and I glare at him. I smooth out my wedding dress and take a deep breath. Just go with the flow Khara. Go with the flow.
"Khara Bain-" I begin but he cuts me off.
"You're a Meldeev now." His voice is stern. What is he getting out of this marriage? I know for a fact this isn't by genuine choice on either our parts.
"Khara Mel...deev. Editor at Kerr Magazine, 21 years old." The car then slows to a stop. I open the door quickly to rush out.
My knees are on the pavements.
My dress is stuck between the car door.
My bracelet is a few feet away from me.
Oh, what joy.
The entire book is already posted!!!😁
