Chapters 44: Italy

Mateo's P.O.V.

Italy. How I wished I never came back again but, I need to save her. She's my life now, that can't be changed. It's been a few months since I saw this huge castle. I have so many memories in this place, particularly my FAMILY.

Habang pababa palang ako ng sasakyan, lima agad na bampira ang humarang sa akin. Even though they are thousands against me, they cannot handle me. Mas matigas pa ako sa bato.

"Move!" I said but still they're not moving.

Ughh, Freak! "I said MOVE!!" Dahil sa ginagalit nila ko, isa-isa ko silang pinag-sisipa at pinag-susuntok. A piece of cake.

"Let's go Kurt." I called him and he just stood there. Dapat kasi sinabi ko nalang sa kanila na mission ang pinunta namin sa Pilipinas. I was so stupid then.

Nauna na akong pumasok sa loob at siya naman ay nasa likod ko. Gian should be here too but I can't find him. I was in a hurry that day so I didn't look for him anymore. I just texted him that we're going back to Italy.

"Mateo! Nice seeing you Nipote!" It was my uncle who greeted me. He approached me and held out his arms to hug me but I refused. He's very obvious. So obvious.

Bigla naman umingay ang buong paligid dahil sa halakhak ng kanyang tawa. He laugh like there's no tommorow. Bahagya tuloy akong nairita. I'm not scared of him anymore. His just some old Vampire to me, wala nang pami-pamilya sa akin.

Bumalik naman sya sa kanyang inuupuan at bigla nalang naging seryoso. "What are you doing here? You must be in in the Philippines finding that girl."

Gusto ko syang suntukin, sipain at higit sa lahat... Patayin. He's so cruel that he was the most powerful Vampire in the world, well as he thinks.

"I know she's here. Where is she?" I seriously said.

"Ohh, I think you mistook on something. Hindi ikaw at kapatid mo ang unang nakahanap sa kanya kundi si Athan. So it means, you and your brother loses the mission."

"You mean the game."

*Sigh* "Finally, you figure it out! I'm just messing around you two. Sinabi ko lang na mission para ito dahil sa nababagot ako. I really gave this mission to Athan because I know he will not make mistakes like ... now. " Psh.

"I no longer care about that mission. Give her to me." I said.

"You're really are a very stubborn child Mateo. Know your limits and place."

Tss, if he think na magpapatalo ako sa kanya, well sorry, I would not.

I quickly ran to his front while firmly holding his collar. I was really mad at him so I did it. Marami namang bampira ang nasa paligid namin at handa na akong dakpin ngunit pinigilan nya ito.

"Hindi ako natatakot sa'yo, walang pami-pamilya kapag sinaktan mo sya." I said while gripping his collar tightly.

"Wow! You are very good Mateo. Kaya mo nang lumaban! Hahaha, you used to bow down whenever I talked to you but now, I can see your very vicious red eyes." He said. I know his teasing me.

"I'm not kidding Marco. Wherever you hid her here, I can easily find her. This is what you will remember, hindi na ako natatakot sa'yo. Patayin kung patayin maakuhaha sa makukuha ko parin sya."

Doon ko palang sya binitawan. Tumalikod nalang ako at nag simula nang mag-lakad. Bahagya ko pa syang narinig na tumawa ngunit pinabayaan ko nalang iyon.

"Maybe when you find out my best kept secret, will you still be brave? " Dining kong sabi nya.

"What do you mean?"

Lumakad naman sya papunta sa akin at may binulong sa akin.

Bigla nalang t-tumigil ang mundo ko sa kanyang sinabi. For all these years, nagawa nyang patayin ang magulang ko , kapamilya nya! I can't stand it anymore. Parang, parang....

*Tear drops*

Mabilis akong tumakbo patungo sa kanya habang sya ay nakahandusay sa sahig. I punched him very hard. I really wanted to do that to him for a very long time. Kulang pa nga yan sa pagpatay nya sa magulang ko. Life in exchange for life.

I was about to grab him when someone held my two hands. Then I realized it was Athan.

"Let me go!" Pag pumiglas ko pero hindi parin nya ako binitawan. How could Athan defending this killer who killed the one who adopted him. Yeah, my mamma e papà found him in a forest, crying. He was like a brother to me especially to Enzo.

"I said let me go Athan. His the one who killed my mother and father... The one who rise you! Don't be such a fool!" Pagsisigaw ko sa kanya. Napansin ko namang pa-unti-unti nyang binitawan ang kamay ko. Ngunit...

"I-I'm sorry Mateo. His the king now, kung sino ang Hari sya ang masusunod." That's what I heard on him. What the actual fvck! How can he been so dumb.

"Hayy Mateo... Talo kana ngayon. Don't you remember on something, if who's the King, he will be followed. So ako ang masusunod." Then he burst into laugh. Not just any laugh, an evil laugh. Bakit napaka sama nya? Hinahanap naman ng paningin ko si Kurt, there were two guards holding his hand. Shit! Where's the Werewolf gang? I needed them.

"Take them to the dungeon and lock them up. Bantayan nyo sila ng mabuti kundi buhay nyo ang kapalit kapag nakatakas yang dalawang yan. Understand!" Sabi nya sa mga bantay. They just nood.

"And Athan find Akisha, this is gonna be so good. Find her!" Wait? Kie! She's still here at the castle. Maybe she can help us. Patay na siguro yung mga lobong yun.
