"alexa, play songs i can figure out my feelings to" i called to the device.

"i'm sorry, y/n, i do not understand your request" she denied.

"you suck" i groaned.

"no it's me, dumbass" a male voice called from outside of my door.

"oh, hey aren" i said.

he opened the door and walked into my room, with bags in hand.

"why haven't you been texting in the groupchat? normally you're the main annoyance" he asked, sitting down on my bed.

"i've just been tired." i dryly replied, ignoring his insult.

"what about new years eve? it's tomorrow and you normally love it" he reached down to grab the store bag.

"i just feel like staying in this year. what's in the bag?" i sat up from my position as he handed it to me.

"look inside"

my eyes lit up.

"(favorite snack)! why are you being so nice? sus." i grabbed onto the snack and opened it.

"i thought you might still be upset after what happened with-"

"shush, i don't care about that, it's probably my period or something." i retort, snacking on my delicious food in front of me.

"you were on your period last week y/n." he slapped my head.

"ouch" i rubbed the hurt spot.

"why don't we get food?" he asked

"i have food right here." i grinned at him with a mouth full of food.

"that isn't food" he discustingly looked at me.

"i can eat it, it's food" i responded.

"your mom already is forcing me to take you out. get dressed we're leaving in 15 minutes." he stood up and left the room.

"wha- FIFTEEN?" i yelled.

"i can't believe you sided with my mom" i huffed, crossing my arms on our way to the cafe.

"she was right though, you looked like a zombie." he retorted.

"rude" i hit his side.

once we entered the cafe, i quickly adjusted my outfit making sure i looked presentable.

"you look fine, stop fidgeting" aren complained.

we got seated as i looked out the window.

"i just feel weird" i replied, holding my head in my hands.

aren huffed and looked to the side.

"hey, isn't that kusuko?" he asked, motioning twords a girl who was sitting alone at a nearby table.

she had pink hair and glasses and reminded me of kusuo.

"who?" i questioned, looking at the female.

"that's saiki's sister!" he whisper yelled at me.

"what? since when did he have a sister!" i whisper yelled back.
