"I'll try to be less boring." Gina said with a smile.
"Wonderful" Jessica exclaimed. They all sat down and paid attention to the tasks assigned to them.

"You okay?" Darcy asked Gina when she noticed she was lost in thoughts.
" Hmm....yeah.. I am" she replied and continued to look outside the  vehicle's window.
"No, doesn't look like you are, haven't we talked about this?"

Darcy's expression became stern.
" What is it about?"she added in a concerned tone.
" Nothing important,well... y-you know...hmmm about..it's n-nothing, nothing important. I assure you" Gina said shaking her head, still looking outside the window.

" You can't say it's nothing after you just skipped like a broken record. You're seriously going to start hiding things from me now?" Darcy said with her jaws dropped.
" Why? Since when did you decide on hiding things from me? Didn't I already tell you that we're sisters?! She yelled then brought her voice down, remembering there was an Uber driver in the car.

"Sorry I yelled. But there is no reason to hide anything besides you know I'll keep bugging you till I find out what it is like when I bugged to tell me why you didn't ...."
"It's the golden eyed man" Gina said cutting Darcy in. She faced her with bulging eyes and clasped Darcy's hands in hers.

"Ohhhh,so you admit he's gorgeously drool worthy, huhhh" Darcy winked with a mischievously looking grin.
"Yes! No! No! No! Take that stupid grin of your face." Gina said frowning. Darcy began to laugh almost uncontrollably.
" Stop! Please." Gina said.
Darcy bit her lip to control her laughter, she breathed in and out, smiled at Gina and finally gave a serious look matching Gina's.

"I'm really seriously, totally, absolutely sorry, I was only trying to brighten up the atmosphere. What's the issue though?"
"  That's no way to brighten up an atmosphere." Gina rolled her eyes and shaked her head. "Even though I'm upset with you , I'll tell you. Hmmm about that sharp pain across my chest I told you about." Gina said
" Yes. Yes, I remember, did it happen again?" Darcy asked.

" Yes, it did. After I saw him, I felt  a sharp pain across my chest. It was after I tripped and Jaxon broke my fall. I don't think it was Jaxon though, because I should have felt it at the interview but I didn't, but the man. I don't know but starring at him like that for a while a-and it was strange, the feeling. I don't know how to further explain" Gina explained in a low tone, then breathed in and out.

"Hmm, so you felt the pain and felt strange?" Darcy asked
" Yes, I did" Gina replied
" How certain are you that it's not Jaxon? How are you sure it's not any of them? I mean it could be that something is about to happen, like getting answers like a clue to everything and that it came  as a coincidence with the two men." Darcy said.
" Yes but then why was it at the time I saw the golden eyed man?...
"After! Darcy cut in her in.

" Maybe it's just a coincidence, ever thought it could be? " she added
"Yes I did, maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. Gina sighed.
" Hmm, Also it could be a good it bad sign, mostly good I suppose, when last did it happen?" Darcy asked emphasizing on the word it.
" Ten years ago, when I almost got hit by a truck. Something or someone saved me. "
" Whoa!" Darcy exclaimed.

" Did you perhaps meet anyone familiar during those ten years?" she asked.
" No, I didn't really... Except for grandma Franky" Gina shrugged.
" I don't know her" Darcy said
" Of course, you don't" Gina said
" It's a coincidence then" Darcy added with finality.
" Hmmm" Gina sighed.
" Don't think too much about it, it'll be fine. You can rest your head on my shoulder and hold my hand" Darcy said with a comforting smile.
" Thank you. But I'll pass, I'm good." Gina said and continued to stare outside the window. The heavy breeze from the speed of the car caressed her hair." I'll just stare outside the window". She added.

" They spent the rest of the journey back home in silence. When they alighted from the car which stopped close to Darcy's apartment. Gina who forgot to say goodnight to Darcy, was about heading towards her apartment which was few blocks away from hers.
"How are you comfortable in heels?" Darcy started a conversation with Gina to take her mind off her thoughts.
"Took me a few years to get used to them, I still prefer trainers though." She replied.

" You didn't say good night this time. Nevermind that, I have some wonderful news." Darcy said. A perfectly bright etched smile appeared on her face.
"What's it?" Gina asked with a light smile on her face.
"Wel-l-l-l, Wendy and I have been thinking about it. We've discussed with mom and we agreed  that it would be a good idea for you to move in. I mean for you to move in, besides mom's going back tomorrow and it looks like she won't be back in a while, so it's a good idea, right? Darcy chuckled.

"Thanks Darcy, but I don't think I'd like to move in. I like my privacy a lot and...."
" You'll get your own room, there are two empty rooms in the house, a bit distant from mine and Wendy's . Big and convenient enough. Please, please, please agree ,it took some effort to convince my mom. Darcy continued to persuade Gina.

"No please, I don't want to further burden anyone" Gina said.
" Who ever said you were a burden?" Darcy asked her shaking her head, she knew convincing Gina to move in wasn't going to be so easy. Gina raised her brows.
"Heyyy! I didn't mean it " Darcy sharply responded in defense.
" I know you're trying to help, but I'm okay staying alone. Thanks for trying to help, it's getting late. I need to rest, good night." Gina said patting get shoulders, she slightly smiled at Darcy before she turned away to walk home.

Darcy kept following Gina, yelling please stay and Gina kept replying no, not minding the people passing by. When Darcy said please stay for the umpteenth time, Gina agreed out of frustration.
"Promise me!" Darcy asked out of  uncertainty.
"I promise, I really promise. Now go home! You're acting like you're ten. " Gina said out of annoyance.
" At least it was worth it" Darcy chuckled.
"Wendy and I will help you move in after work. She giggled
"Good night" Darcy yelled after walking a distance.
"Eish! These heels!" Darcy complained.
"You'll get used to them" Gina yelled back at her.
"Good night!" She added.
