Chapter 20: A Normal Day, Right?

A/n: Swearing, long chapter, this chapter is gunna be.. chaotic

Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, pulling me into a tight hug.
"There you are!"
I looked up to see...

I looked up to see Sun hugging me, Moon stood beside him.

"Don't just sit around, lets get something to eat" Moon suggested.

"We got to get our energy up! Its the middle of the week so this means more chaos in the Daycare!" Sun said.

"Way to be inspirational, Sun" Moon scoffed.
"Like you could do any better" Sun argued.

"Lets just get some food" I said.

"Here's an idea, why don't Sun and I get some food while Y/n stays here?" Moon suggested.

"Yeah! Plus if we leave now then the chances of tis table being taken are high" Sun added.

"If you guys want" I shrugged, "can you get me some fried chicken?" I asked.

"Sure, we'll be right back" Moon said.

Sun let me go and they both walked off.

Sun and Moon came back with trays and they sat down next to me. I was passed a tray with some fried chicken and various fruits. They also brought some water bottles as well.
'Eh, the chicken could fill me up for now' I internally shrugged.

"Hey Y/n?" Sun suddenly spoke up.

"Yeah?" I replied, taking a bite from my food.

"Yesterday, after the whole glue in hair incident... I passed by Pepper once nap time swung around and he mentioned something about you crying...?" Sun asked nervously.

I choked on my food.
"What?" I said in between coughs.

Moon looked up from his food, intrigued by the sudden information.
"They were?" Moon asked.

"Yeah! Pepper said that once Carley came in with the pizza you left the room crying after a while. He said he didn't get the fully story though, just that Carley kicked you out" Sun added. 

'Dammit Pepper' I internally screamed. I stared at my food.

 "You're not deny it, Y/n" Moon said casually.

"Ok I admit it, Carley and I go into a bit of a fight yesterday morning which led to me being set up as a potential child murderer" I blurted out.

"What?!" Sun and Moon both yelled.

I sighed and took a sip of water from a bottle. I explained to Sun and Moon what happened yesterday, excluding the strange dreams and ghost children. I mentioned about the fight in the pantry and the box being open already, being tired and not checking what I was placing, that Linda is Carley's mom, Daniel being allergic to peanuts and a bag of peanuts was found with the  snacks, being threatened about being sued. I also told them what Mr. Ledgers told me as well.

"I guess me telling you about the accidental bet Pepper and I made didn't help either?" Sun said sheepishly. 

I didn't know what to say. I silently looked at my food, poking it it.

"Carley is being a prick, and for what?" Moon said angrily while crossing his arms.

"From now on I'll get the Daycare snacks" Sun put a hand on my shoulder.
