ZIZY

"Picture! Picture!" my classmates and his friends shouted.

Halatang halata sa mukha ni Kenley ang hiya. He's cute, but Colden is just hard to get off my mind. But how could I turn down this man? Kenley's my friend, and he always made me laugh when we're talking.

I never thought that he likes me, he always tease me, and damn.. This is so complicated.

Dahil sa kakulitan ng mga tao sa paligid namin, we didn't had a choice but to take a picture together.

"Ala'y bagay eh!"

"Witwiw!"

"New couple na ga ito?"

Halos lahat sila ay inaasar kaming dalawa, maliban na lang sa mga kaibigan ko. My friends, I'm sure they're not enjoying this! Kita ko na sa mga mukha nila na naiinis na sila.

"Kenley, can we talk? Privately." bulong ko sa kaniya.

Sumunod kaagad siya sa akin. Sinenyasan ko ang mga kaibigan ko na huwag kaming sundan. Sa may mini forest kami napadpad, walang gaanong tao doon.

"Zizy, pasensya ka na. Mukhang mali yata ang desisyon ko.. I think I pressured you.. But promise, I just really want to confess, I don't need an answer from you. Gusto ko lang na malaman mo ito." he said in his soft voice.

I smiled at him and slightly nodded. "Ken, thanks for doing this.. I really appreciate you liking me.. I'm a girl who always get to the point, so.."

I stop for a second.

Should I say it?

Mas okay na siguro ito para hindi ko na siya mabigyan ng false hopes.

"Kenley, I like someone else.. And I've been liking this boy for almost 3 years now." I told him.

His expression didn't change, he just smiled at me, but this time with his sad eyes.

"Iyong taga-Pansol ga?"

I bit my inner lips and slowly nodded gazing away from his eyes. Fuck, this is making me feel guilty! But this is way better than giving him a false hope, right?

"Tama nga ang hula ko."

"Hula mo?"

"I told you, my hula are always 100% sure." he chuckled.

I suddenly remember what he told me when I first talked to him.

"But you failed to this one." I told him, talking about what he said before.

"I know.. Pero 'yong hula ko na may gusto ka doon sa taga-Pansol, tama." he said, and smiled again.

"Don't smile at me. Kakabusted ko lang sa'yo. Bakit ga ang bait mo? You're supposed to walk away from me."

"Bakit naman? Hindi mo naman kasalanan na gusto kita at may iba kang gusto.. Walking away after being rejected is not my thing."

"I'm sorry, Kenley." I said.

"You don't have to apologise." he said. "Zizy, can I have one favor?"

"Ano 'yon?"

"Can I marry you in the wedding booth? For one last time before things get awkward to us?"

Nagdadalawang isip pa ako pero sa huli ay pumayag na ako. There's nothing wrong about it, it's just a fake wedding ceremony.

"We're not gonna be awkward to each other, Ken. We can still be friends, I mean if you want to."

"I would love to."

After that we walked together to the small wedding booth in our school. Nang malaman ng mga kaklase namin ay agad silang nagpuntahan dito at nagsigawan. My friends came too, with shocks in their faces.
