003. FREE PERIOD

Chapter three
"Free period."

There free period during school was usually spent working on new cheer routines in which the girls were practicing on one half of the gym while the guys were on the other, during there stretch time one of the teammates looked over at Tory "hey, did you hear that weird rumor going around about how your brother was looking at the winter musicale sign up sheet?" a girl asked as Tory quickly lifted her head up "he what?" she asked, looking at everyone as they all seemed to have heard it as Tory huffed "okay, well, my brother may be my brother but he's still our team captain who no matter what funk he's in. We still need to cheer him on at the game, so, let's go, formation!" she yelled, blowing her whistle as everybody did so.

"Listen up, it's not so tough

I'll tell you how it's done
There's really nothing better
Than to hear you're number one
And I know how to get a crowd
Right up and on their feet."

Tory sang jumping up and doing a split in mid air as her teamates in the back were in two pyramids throwing someone up in the air, clapping when she came down as everyone then followed suit as they all started to dance, following Tory's lead.

Getting into formation, they all were holding there pom pom's bringing one foot up as well as a hand.

But when Tory turned around it seemed her team still didn't believe in her like they should as she huffed throwing her pom pom's down and walking off as someone who trusted her followed after her while the others who were iffy ran after them.

"Been waiting for this day to come
And it was all so clear."

Tory sang as she walked forward, clapping her hands as her teammates lifted her up into the air.

"Since I was a little girl
I saw me standing here."

She sang as two of her teammates back flipped in front of them in which they then put her down again.

"And all the times they told me "Walk away"
I said, "Forget it"
I knew where I was headed.

And I was gonna get it."

One of the team members sang as they were lifted up into the pyramid as Tory then clapped her hands as they all were back on the ground, and started dancing.

The two got lifted up again and then thrown in the air and as they came back down they got caught as they went back down and ran off down the gym, doing backflips as everybody else started dancing.

But it seemed when Tory turned around her team all seemed to be sitting on the bleachers being tired out already which she wasn't gonna stand for as she ran towards the stands and started moving her hands as she sang, jumping onto the bleachers.

Everybody started so sing along with her again as Tory then cartwheeled off the bleachers in which everyone then ran off the bleachers following her as they all danced and sang along.

Standing in the front, Tory had her hands in the air, as she took deep breaths "we're fired up! We're fired up!" the girls yelled running around as the guys began running towards them "what team!" Chad yelled "wildcats!" everyone started yelling even the girls "what team!" Chad yelled again "wildcats!" everyone yelled as Chad ran towards Tory pulling her into a sweaty hug as she shrieked "wildcats!' Chad yelled "getcha your head in the game!" everyone yelled as they headed towards the locker rooms "so how'd practice go?" Chad asked her as Tory grimaced "um, how about I tell you that after you shower? Cause you smell." she shared pushing him off her as she started running off to the locker room, laughing as Chad ran after her "hey, take that back!" he yelled, laughing.
