"This day has been absolutely stressful" I breathed out a long breath picking up a makeup brush to touch up the blush on my cheeks.

"How so, miss Blanchet?" Bob, my chauffeur, asks me. I roll my eyes at his formal approach.

"I did have an amazing morning with a long bath and brush but then everything went south when I couldn't find an outfit for the ballet show, couldn't find a good pair of heels or jewelry" I sigh. I ended up wearing a black Chanel suit blazer with a mini black skirt underneath.

Bob chuckles and shakes his head "you are one of a kind" he says making me smile to myself.

It wasn't just the hard time finding the perfect outfit that made me nervous. I haven't stopped thinking about that kiss from the other night. I don't know what flew into me. Everything was out of place. Kissing your best friend and not to mention, your fake boyfriend, shouldn't have felt like that.

I'm scared that it was a mistake. No, it was a mistake. I shouldn't have done it and he probably questions our entire friendship now. What if he wants to leave me, break our friendship. He can't do that, can he? I wouldn't survive without him.

We arrive at the theater and it's welling with people. I spot my friends waiting for me. Ophelia in a short white dress with a pretty bow on the chest with matching white gloves. Xavier is wearing black dress pants with a white button up shirt.

Miles opens my car door, his hand waiting for me. I take it in mine. Nervously, I take a step out of the car, in front of Miles who smiles as we come face to face. His fingers grip my chin and pull me in until our lips meet for a small peck.

"I'm never gonna get used to seeing that," Xavier says behind us. I can't help but crack a smile as I stare at Miles. He's wearing an all black set. Black dress pants, a black button up shirt with a few buttons undone, showing a bit of his chest. His sleeves are rolled up, showcasing his forearms and giving extra attention to the expensive watch on his wrist and the silver rings on his fingers.

The two gentlemen lead me and Ophelia into the theater, heading our way towards our own floor booth. Miles' hand rested on the small of my back. He leans in to whisper "Do you want something to eat?" he asks.

"Oh, no thank you, I'm good" I give him a tight smile. We close in to our booth when an unknown voice calls.

"Ophelia?" We all turn around to see a guy with slicked back blonde hair approach Ophelia.

"Peter! Oh hi" Ophelia smiles wide, stepping away from Xavier to hug this Peter. He kisses her cheek which makes Xavier cross his arms, glaring at the guy. I look up at Miles, who looks back at me with confusion.
