Maisons POV
Layla wakes me up at 7 in the morning. She is in her pink footy pjs and her long hair in hanging down her back.
I walk with her downstairs to see Jax at the table.
"I told her not to wake you" he smiled
"It okay, I was basically up anyway."
I set Layla down on the kitchen counter and poured her some cereal.
While she was eating I heard a knock on the door. It was Kadian.
"Good morning" I said
"Morning.... Is she up?" He asked
"Ha! She's been up for hours" I laugh
We walk into the kitchen and Layla is in full swing about Forrest.
"Hey beautiful girl!" Kadian said to her.
"Hey!" She smiled
Kadian takes a seat next to her.
"So Forrest is going to be here soon right mommy?" She ask me
"Who's Forrest?" Kadian ask
Jax and I trade glances.
Just when I was about to think of something to say the door opened.
"Layla" I heard Forrest call.
"Forrest!" Layla beamed and ran out of the kitchen.
"Who is Forrest" Kadian asked again but I thin he already knew the answer.
"Kadian" I warned
"Who the fuck is Forrest!" He snapped
Before either of us could answer Forrest walked in with Layla placed on his hip.
Forrest was tall for his age, he had dark brown spiked hair. He had emerald green eyes. He was about 3 1/2 years older than Layla.
"Hello" he greeted Jax and me. He turned to look at Kadian and his eyes went wide.
He gently sat Layla down and crouched down to her size.
"Hey baby girl why don't you go get changed and than we can go play with Wolfe okay?" He ask her
Wolfe was what she called his wolf. His wolf was bigger than most his age. He was going to be the pack warrior when he was older. Forrest and his wolf adored Layla. His Wolfe was so gentle with her it was the cutest thing to see.
Layla smiled and ran upstairs to change. Forrest than turned to Kadian.
"Hello sir" he greeted
"Who are you?" Kadian ask
"My name is Forrest Rogers sir."
"Well, Forrest Rogers, why are you so taken with my daughter!"
"Kadian don't be so rude." I snapped
"Not until someone say who he is!"
Jax was the one to speak up clearly getting annoyed with Kadian.
"He's her mate"
