Kaidans POV
I waited for Maison to make it safely inside the Pack Doctors office. I walked back to the pack house where I knew Layla is. I walk in the kitchen to see Forrest and Layla. She was in his lap facing him. He was tickling her and make faces to make her smile an laugh. I stood there watching them when I notice Jax walk up next to me.
We walked into the living room.
"Their adorable aren't they?" Jax ask
"Yeah she seems to be happy with him."
"She is, you should see when he's not around."
"I'm glad she has had people looking out for her"
"You talking about Layla or Maison?" Jax asked after a few moment of silence.
"Look, you to are obviously together, but she's my mate." I told him
"She's not your mate, not anymore anyway. She hasn't been for a long time so stop trying to fix things with her. I understand you want a relationship with Layla, but you destroyed Maison, and I'm not about to let you hurt her again." He said
"I don't plan on hurting her, I just need to talk about how things are going to work."
"Hurt her I will kill you" he said and walked away.
That could have gone better.
Maison POV
"Thanks Paul" I smiled at the pack doctor.
"Anytime Maison." He smiled "just wait for the blood work to come back and we will see if you got any infection in your cut or not"
"Any right thanks"
After a few minutes of waiting for the test result Paul walked back in look strangely at the piece of paper.
"Paul"?
"Maison, your blood work is fine but."
"Paul?"
"Maison, when was you last cycle?"
My last period? While now that I think about it maybe 6 weeks?
Wait 6 weeks?
"Paul are you telling me that I'm?" I trail off
"Yes, Maison your pregant."
