Holly's P.O.V
"Haley calm down. It's going to be okay," I say as I try to sooth Haley. "But it's not going to be okay! He's gone and isn't mine and won't be mine!" she yells back.
I sigh and she just cries into my shoulder. I'm trying to focus on her but I just need to figure it out with Luke. Maybe he hasn't said or done anything because he wants to keep our relationship and found a way to do that? I just want to know.
My phone starts buzzing and I see Luke's calling me. What a coincidence I was just thinking about him! Like always.
I answer the phone, nervous for what's coming.
"Hello?"
"Hey Holly. What are you doing?" he sounds so shaken up.
I glance at Haley. "Uh, nothing really. Why? Are you alright?"
"Oh I just went to your house and you weren't home so I was checking on you."
"I'm at Haley's house."
"Oh well can I see you later?"
So you can break my heart? Or explain?
"Yeah I can leave now. Where are you?"
"I'm walking to Haley's house."
"Oh well I'll meet you halfway."
I hang up and run out of the house before Luke comes and sees Haley in a mess.
I walk to the end of the driveway and see Luke walking towards me. I think he's crying but I'm not quite sure.
"Hi," I say as he walks up to me. His eyes are red so I'm sure he was crying but is now trying to hide it. He smiles at me and says,"Let's go to the park."
Haley lives across the street from the park so it's not a far walk. We sit at a bench and I say,"Luke are you alright?"
He shakes his head and stares at his feet. I wrap my arm around him and wipe the few tears that fell. "I ha-have to tell you something." he says.
Here it comes.
"So we recorded a song to be released and we have the tour to go on. But there's some things rules and requirements that come along with it." he starts. Each word I break more and more.
I'm already in tears so I just choke out,"I already know Luke." He looks at me with tears streaming down his face.
"What?"
"The girls told me. I just don't get it. I love you Luke."
"I love you to Holly. I tried all I could but this is the only option. I'm sorry."
He wraps his arms around me and I sob into his body. Although I knew it was coming it still hurts like a bitch. The one thing that felt right with my life just slipped away. Gone.
"I-I I wanna go home." I say in between sobs. I look at Luke's red puffy eyes, pale face, and tears falling. He nods his head and we start walking.
We walk to my front door and I turn around to face the boy I love. "I love you Luke."
"I love you Holly." He says as we hug one last time for a long time. "I'm going to miss you so much" he says.
"I'm going to miss you a lot to." I turn around and walk into my house. I swing the door shut and I hear him say,"I love you so much Holly. I'm sorry."
I fall to the ground and clench my knees to my chest. I sob and sob as my body feels numb. Everything soon goes blank.
