"What are you two arguing about?" Lorenzo, Leo's father, asked as he entered the room

"Leo and Carlos are going to the amusement park and I want to go with them" Elena answered

"We're going there to finish some work and it'll be dangerous for you to come with us" Carlos tried to explain, hoping he'd get her to change her mind

"I don't care I wanna go. You can finish your work and I promise I won't cause troubles"

"Fine! But don't blame us if something happens to you" Leo snapped making his way out the room

"Yes!!" Elena cheered as she bumped her fists in the air and started following him when Leo's mother stopped her

"Be careful, sweetheart. If they're going to do some work then it'll probably be dangerous" Loraine instructed Elena giving her a tight smile

"Ok I will, bye"

"Woo-hoo, that's great" Elena yelled as she bounced in the air, jumping up and down on the trampoline type floor.

Leo and Carlos had left her about fifteen minutes ago and told her to stay at the 'bouncy room' with the other children and she didn't complain about it.

She was laughing and jumping but stopped when she heard screams and cries, she looked out and saw people running with their children or hiding behind the trees, they all had the same look, they looked horrified and frightened.

Slowly, she walked out, curios to know what was happening but froze when she saw the scene in front of her

A beaten up man on the ground coughing out blood while Leo was standing a few feet away casually aiming a gun at the man's head, ready to pull the trigger

Her mind didn't even have the time to register what she was doing, she just felt herself running towards them.

Leo heard running footsteps and looked up, his eyes widening for a split second before going back to his familiar hard glare, his face held blank expression, no emotion as he stared at Elena who was now standing between Leo and the guy.

"Step away, Elena" Leo ordered, his voice is dangerously calm

Elena looked at him somehow wanting to see the guy she slept beside the previous night, the guy she was warming up to, but instead of that she saw the guy she first met when she moved in.

She remembered when she saw him murdering that guy in his office, she was looking now at the same cold blue eyes she saw that night.

"Don't do it" She whispered, giving him a pleading look

"Step away, Elena" He repeated, clenching his jaw

"What the hell is wrong with you?" She asked him then she turned around and asked, "What the hell is wrong with all of you people?! You're standing there and watching instead of helping the man or stopping him?!" She screamed as she gestured at Leo.

Two guys were brave enough to step out from behind the trees as they started walking towards them, giving Elena uncertainty look

"Take one more step and you're dead. Both of you" Leo said, his gun was aimed at the two guys who instantly stopped walking and their faces visibly paled.

By now the guy who was on the floor, was almost standing again, he looked at Leo and smiled, showing his red stained teeth from the blood,

"quindi Questa è la ragazza che abbiamo sentito parlare,(so this is the girl we heard about)" He said casting a glance at Elena then looking back at Leo, "è until vero peccato che non sarò in grado di vivere e vedere che cosa i vostri nemici fare per la ragazza (it's a shame that I won't be able to live and see what your enemies will do to the girl)"
