Chapter Twenty Nine

Leo carried Elena's limp body and walked as fast as he could towards the emergency entrance.

"I need some help here!" He yelled and three nurses came out immediately

Leo placed Elena on the stretcher and walked along with them, "She's got two shots, one in the thigh and another in the shoulder. She lost a lot of blood," He stopped walking as they got her in the operation room and a doctor came rushing in their way but before he can get in the room, Leo stopped him,

"You have to save her" He said in his firm, low voice and the doctor nodded,

"I'll do my best" He said then entered the room

Leo leaned against the wall clutching his already opened injury and a nurse came towards him,

"Sir, I need you to come with me so I can check your wound"

"I'm not going anywhere until I know that she's fine"

"Leo, go with her. You'll be back after they check your injury. I'll wait here"

The whole family was there when the doctor came out, Leo was the first one to approach him instantly,

"How is she?"

"We can say that she's out of danger but her wounds are still fresh, she needs a lot of rest for her and the baby"

Everyone sighed in relief,

"Thank God" Leo mumbled and smiled

They waited for Elena to wake up then her family along with Leo's family saw her and went back home to rest and that's when Leo and his men entered the room.

Elena gave them a wide smile and asked looking at Leo, "How is my favorite man in the world?"

"I'm fine!" Leo and Jeremy said at the same time

All of them looked at him weirdly except for Leo who was glaring at him,

"Sorry boss, I thought the question was for me" Jeremy apologized then he gasped, "Elena! We missed you!" He screamed as if he just saw her

Elena giggled and Leo shook his head

"But Alex missed you the most"

Leo looked at Alex with crossed arms, raising an eyebrow causing Alex to raise his hands in surrender, "I didn't miss her, he means the puppy!" He quickly corrected as he shoved Jeremy

Elena laughed and said, "You're still stupid guys!"

"Look who's talking"

A month later

Elena walked out the kitchen with a chocolate ice cream tub in her hands, she walked into the living room and saw the guys mumbling and whispering to each others but all of them stopped talking when they saw her.

Elena put a hand on her hip and asked,

"What's going on?"

"Uh.. Nothing?"

"Really?"

"Yeah, we're going out!" One of the men exclaimed as the others nodded

"What? Where are you going at this hour?" Elena asked suspiciously

Jeremy opened his mouth to answer but another one cut him off,

"We have some work to do"

"All of you?"
