Chapter Eighteen

"Ok Elena, you can do it"

"No, I can't"

"C'mon don't be like that, man up and ask him"

"Ok, I better go before I chicken out again"

Elena mumered, she was convincing herself to talk to Leo about how she was invited by Sean to go to a bar with him, Lucas and Blake (Sean and Blake are Lucas' friends, the ones she knew when she ran away from Leo and stayed in Lucas' apartment)

It was six in the morning as she opened his room's door and went in

"Oh! He's asleep.. OK, I'll come back later" She made a step towards the door then stopped

"No, I'll wake him up and ask him then he can go back to sleep.. Yeah, that's better"

She sat down on the edge of his bed and watched him for a moment

He was devilishly handsome, his long eyelashes almost touched his high cheekbones, his perfectly straight and narrow nose, his soft lips which were parted slightly and his strong jaw.. He looked so innocent while he was sleeping, no one would believe that this man is in mafia, or that he'd killed so many men in his life

Elena shook her head to clear her thoughts

"Oh my God! I'm staring at him while he's sleeping, I'm becoming a creep" She whispered then she raised her hand to shake him but before she can do it, she sneezed.

Right on his fucking face..

It all happened so fast, one second she was sitting on the edge, and the next second, Leo flopped her on the bed, his body covering hers and a gun was pressed against her head

Elena yelped looking at Leo with wide green eyes, when Leo recognized her face and knew that there was no danger, he sighed and put his gun away,

"What do you want?" Leo's husky voice caused Elena to snap out of her daze

She cleared her throat after recovering from the shock and said, "Where did that gun come from?"

"Under the pillow.. Now, a better question, did you dream about me last night and that's why you came here at," He paused looking at the alarm clock on the nightstand beside his bed and said, "six in the fucking morning"

"Well.. Um.. Can you get off of me so I can explain"

After they sat on the bed in a comfortable position, Elena noticed that Leo was shirtless so before she can get distracted, she wrapped the blanket around him.

Leo rolled his eyes at what she did then asked, "What do you want? It must be important because you couldn't wait for me to wake up"

"Uh.. How do I say it? Ok, I won't be able to have dinner here in the house tonight.. That's it, you can go back to sleep now, bye!"

Before she can get up, Leo grabbed her wrist

"And where are you going?"

Ok, he didn't yell so that means he just wants to know where I'm going.. That's good

Elena smiled and said, "We're going to a club"

Leo kept his cool facade as he asked, "We?"

"Yeah! Lucas and his friends. We haven't seen each other in a long time" Elena exclaimed

"Hell no! You're not going anywhere"

And just like that her smile disappeared

"Excuse me? Yes, I'm going.. I'm here to tell you that I'm going, not to ask for your permission"
