I'm biting down hard on my knuckles to stop the tears from streaming down my face

Her voice is so broken and shaking viciously
I open my mouth but the words are lodged at the back of my throat
"You were just using me?" She continues as she sobs heavily down the phone
The tears now begin sliding down my face
"I love you so much," I choke in a broken tone
She's already hung up
