I lightly awoke by the feeling of ice-cold water. Nathan dragged me to the plane, still followed by shots of the mercenaries. I blacked out again.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Oh my GOD, Jo!", I heard my father scream.

"Jesus! What happened.", Sam shouted.

Nathan laid me down on the ground and completely ignored the two others.

"Sully, get us out of here and fly to the next hospital! And do we have a first aid kit?", he asked in panic, while he pressed his hands against my shoulder to stop the bleeding. I barely noticed my father starting the engine and the pane taking of.

"Nathan, are you okay? Did he shot you, too?", I asked in pain.

"Shh, I'm okay don't worry."

Sam passed the first aid kit to him and Nate began to clean the wound. It burned like hell and I hissed in pain.

"It will hurt even more, Jo, but I have to take the bullet out."

I nodded and he pulled it out. He was right. It hurt so much more. It was even worse than the shot itself. I clenched my teeth and fell unconscious again.

--------------------------------Nathan's point of view-------------------------------

After I put away the tweezers with the bullet, I noticed Jo's shoulder even more and immediately pressed a bandage against it.

"It's okay, Jo. I got the bullet. It's bleeding as hell, but I got it. "

She didn't answer.

"Jo?!" I checked her pulse. Nothing.

"No! No! Don't do that to me! Wake up!!" I gave the towel to Sam, so he could stop the bleeding and began reanimating her.

"Sully, hurry! We need to get her to the hospital!!", I was in panic. He looked at me in shock, pale and unable to move. Sam put a hand on my shoulder.

"Nathan, she is dead. We tried everything, but she is dead."

"No, she is not!! She will wake up! She has to! Please, Jo! Wake up ...", I stopped reanimating her and put my hands on both sides of her face. I tried mouth-to-mouth-resuscitation, but eventually gave up. Tears were running down my face as I hugged her, one last time.

------------------------------------Jo's point of view-----------------------------------------

I weakly opened my eyes, coughing, but breathing. I noticed Nate hugging me, but soon after he heard me coughing, he pulled away.

"Oh my god, JO!" He began patching me up once more. I was unable to say something.

"You ... you were dead.", my father stated. "How are you still alive?"

"I don't know.", I managed to say. He knelt down next to me and caressed my head. After a few minutes Nathan was finished dressing up my wound. I was still in pain and everything was blurred. Nathan leaned back.

"Don't ever do that to me again, Jo.", he weakly said. I tried to sit up, but he softly pulled me back.

"You need to rest. You lost a lot of blood."

"You need to drink something to compensate the deficit.", Sam handed me a bottle of water and I did as he told me.
