Random cat: ...and here's the border of the Clan. Uh, dunno what it's called...I stay away from this area.

Bill Nye: Thanks anyway, Mr. Rogue! DispersalClan was gigantic. Wait, uh, which direction is the camp in..?

Random cat: *is gone*

Bill Nye: ...uh ok. Whatever, I'm sure a cat will come to pick me up.

30 minutes later

Bill Nye: You know, maybe I should try to find the camp..?

After a crazy amount of time, Bill Nye stumbles into a clearing, rather amazed that he still hasn't been stopped by a random cat. He notes that he is in some sort of a camp, and promptly collapses.

Copyfur: Oh dear. We should probably get him to the hospital.

Bill Nye: *hit his chin on ground* ughghhhghhg....whats a hothpita...?

Bill Nye now looks like a puny version of Crookedstar, except not nearly as awesome.

Copyfur: Uh, medicine cat den? Anyway, I'm Copyfur.

Bill Nye: Copeh..? Ughgh nevah mine

Bill Nye is taken into the hospital, where a cat scans Bill Nye's broken jaw and promptly moves him into surgery. The scene goes conveniently black, and comes back on with Bill having a perfectly normal jaw.

Bill Nye: what the dark forest happened there

Random medic: We cloned your jaw, disconnected your old one, and put it on!

Bill Nye: ...

Copyfur: Anyway, we're CloneClan! We, you know, clone stuff.

Bill Nye: ...explain please

Copyfur: Well, what HAS been done is-- *deep breath* In reproductive cloning, researchers remove a mature , such as a skin cell, from an animal that they wish to copy. They then transfer the DNA of the donor animal's somatic cell into an egg cell, or oocyte, that has had its own DNA-containing nucleus removed.

Researchers can add the DNA from the somatic cell to the empty egg in two different ways. In the first method, they remove the DNA-containing nucleus of the somatic cell with a needle and inject it into the empty egg. In the second approach, they use an electrical current to fuse the entire somatic cell with the empty egg.

In both processes, the egg is allowed to develop into an early-stage embryo in the test-tube and then is implanted into the womb of an adult female animal.

ltimately, the adult female gives birth to an animal that has the same genetic make up as the animal that donated the somatic cell. This young animal is referred to as a clone. Reproductive cloning may require the use of a surrogate mother to allow development of the cloned embryo, as was the case for the most famous cloned organism, Dolly the sheep.

Bill Nye: *shuts eyes* ugh ugh what ah help too much info

Copycat: In sci-fi though this can be used in practically every way so yeah.

Bill Nye: agh ughghghg help

Suddenly, an alarm blares, and Copycat jumps up in panic. 

Copycat: Why can't we go a day without this happening?! No WONDER we can't do patrols...

Thousands of clones of Bill Nye pour into the corridor walking aimlessly, and Bill Nye lets out a high-pitched scream.

Bill Nye: WHAT THE--

Bill Nye Clones: We want to learn! Tell us more! What, where, why? I'm a scientist in the making :). I'm a loner in search of knowledge! What do you have to teach us?

Bill Nye: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *runs*

Copycat: WAIT!

Bill Nye: *is long gone*

Copycat: But I didn't get to tell you about gene cloning... :(
