Chapter 5

What a beautiful morning, birds chirping and the sun is so high.

And I am like -

"I AM SUPER DEPRESSED!!" I exclaimed with joy expression although I am devastated.

I hear footsteps come running towards my room's door.

Aarav just burst in!!

"Hey, are you okay?!" Aarav asked with concern.

"I am fine. I was just trying to relax."

"Oh! Really?!"

"Yeah."

"mm-hm. By the way, did you sleep okay last night."

"Yeah, I was fine. Don't worry."

Not. At. All. I wasn't fine!

He slept on my bed and I had to sleep on the sofa. I at least fell 5 times and at 1 point I almost slept on the floor. How could I be fine?

"Okay then come for breakfast. Do take a quick bath you are late."

"Okay! Got it."

At the breakfast table, everybody's laughing about something. Let's find out.

"Hey! Morning, mom." I said

"Good morning, Aaryana," she said radiantly.

"Mommy, what are they laughing about?"

"Oh! They are laughing about that egg incident, your father just told them."

"Oh! My! God!"

I'll clarify the incident – I was 2 years old we had a dog named Janet. She and I were a lot attached. We always stayed together. She was my savior.

Once I was eating eggs and she was sitting next to me. I put an egg in her mouth and half of it fell which I then picked up and ate.

It's not that much funny.

I greeted everybody, sat, ate my food and went upstairs without uttering any word.

They destroyed my peace. My Sundays used to be so much serene.

Here comes the rich freak. He just entered MY ROOM like he owned it.

"Hey, Aara I wanted to ask you something."

"Yeah, what?"

No kiddo don't ask. I am in killer mode. Don't you do it.

"Want to go out today and hit the pizza hut store?"

Pizza! Pizza! He's such a nice guy. Till now I had it all wrong.

But...

"Yes but no yes."

"Why?!"

"Because I have a part-time job."

"Give me a break! Really?"

"Yeah! It's on Saturdays and Sundays."

"What is it?"

"I take care of a little girl who is diseased with Aspergers Syndrome."

"Oh! Okay! How much time?"

"Four hours."

"I'll go with you and then we hit the pizza hut store."

"You sure about this?"

"Yes, I am."

"Okay then. Do as you please."
