It was lonesome, torture,
detestation, rejection, and white lies,
that I sowed inside you.
And as the years passed by
since the last moment we were,
It was honesty, forgiveness, patience, understanding, loyalty, and love,
that I reaped from you.
I never deserved any of those.
And you certainly deserve better.
But you never once and never did left.
You stayed put and never once left,
despite the multiple times,
I did.
