And the pride in your voice,
Speaks as if,
You own me.
The songs that you sing,
And the rhythms that you play,
Speaks as if,
You know me.
The muscles that you move,
And the words that you convey,
Speaks as if,
You want me.
But this poetry I write,
And this poetry I tell,
Speaks as if,
I've loved you.
