A Life With You

The sun was setting,
And you were right there.
As if all the world's fading,
All I could do was stare.

I felt the breeze upon my skin,
And stared deeply into your eyes.
You were where I found myself in,
And gave life to my butterflies.

I knew I was in love,
The moment I caught your glance.
A life with you was all I could think of,
Staring to the stars from the sands.

We would build our tiny castle,
Some place away from the crowds,
And spend our years to travel,
Flying up with the clouds.

We would sit in the light of day,
Watching those little legs run around.
There, you would smile and say,
"Let's grow old together, how does that sound ?"

We'd go through all our storms,
Holding on to each other tight.
I would always have your arms,
And they'll never be out of sight,

For a life with you,
Is all I could wish of.
And I hope someday it'd be true,
For it is you that I love.
