It's always easier to walk away,
It's always easier to fade,
It's always easier to forget,
And it's always easier to start again.
I never thought that facing you,
Would be this hard.
I never thought about the scars it left,
And the aches they bury in my heart.
If only I could change the world,
For just a night,
Then time would stop,
And it would all be much easier.
If only I could tell you,
what you needed to hear,
Then maybe all of this,
Would just be much easier.
