You told me to wait, I did.
You told me to stay, I did.
You told me to try, I did.
You told me to believe, I did.
You promised you'd change.
'But, I need some time."
You promised you'd try.
"It's not as easy as it seems."
All I wanted was your love,
And for a moment in time,
I thought it was worth it,
Worth all the wait just to feel you.
But, soon I realized,
If loving me is hard for you,
If it is tiring for you,
Or if it is forceful for you,
Then I shouldn't want it,
Not a single heartbeat of it.
