CHAPTER 35

KIRSTEN'S POV:

We're in New York. Edward brought me here kasi super gusto ko talagang makita ang Statue of Liberty at ang Empire State Building. Grabe, ang ganda pala talaga. No wonder maraming nagpupunta dito just to see those. Nagpunta din kami sa Central Park. Super lawak nya as in! Hindi na sumama samin si Ate Anika kasi sabi nya gusto nya kaming mag-enjoy at ayaw nya maging third wheel. Ha-ha, kunsabay may point sya dun.

At the moment, we're in Sonnenberg Gardens. Ang ganda dito, super gara din ng lugar.

"Babe, did you liked it?" He asked habang vinivideo ako.

"Yes, so much! Thank you babe!"

"Anything for you."

"Wag mo na kong i-video please, naiilang ako." I said as I try to cover the lens of the video camera.

"Babe please, just let me take a video of you. Please... I want something to watch wherenever I miss you."

I let out a deep sigh and remove my hand that's covering the lens. "Okay, fine. Pero wag mong i-focus masyado sa mukha ko. Nakakahiya!"

"Ha-ha! Ang ganda mo kaya!"

"Bolero! Tara na nga let's go over there oh!" I said as I led him to the greenhouse. "Ang ganda!"

"Oo nga, sobrang ganda." He said. I looked at him only to find out na sakin sya nakatingin.

"Nakakainis ka naman babe, hindi ka naman sa halaman nakatingin. Ang sabi ko ang ganda ng lugar."

"Oo nga, maganda ang lugar. Pero mas maganda ka." Shocks! Nag-blush na naman ako. Kaloka! Bakit ba ang bilis ko mag-blush everytime na pinupuri nya ko?

"Ha-ha! Ang cute mo talaga mag-blush." He teased.

"Sige pagtripan ba naman ako? I-delete mo yun ah!" I rant.

"Why would I? It is what I always wanted to see." Yung totoo, ako ba ang maraming alam na punchlines? O sya?

"Ewan ko sayo babe!" Kunway inis na sabi ko.

"Sige na, let's be serious na."

"Huh?"

"What is your greatest dream babe? Or if given a chance, what would you like to do or experience?" He asked while focusing the camera on me. Gosh! May ganon talaga?

"Para saan yan?" I asked curiously.

"Just answer it please."

"Okay po." I took a deep breath. "Simple lang naman ang gusto ko, to experience how to love and be loved. Then you came and made it possible for me to experience it. But if given a chance to try or experience something new, I want to... First, since I am not a very talented person, I would like to experience performing in front of a huge crowd. I'm a frustrated singer you know that, so singing in front of a huge crowd would really mean something. Second, I want to experience dancing and playing in the rain. I wanted to try it since I was a kid but my parents wouldn't let me because I easily get sick. Lastly, I want to travel the world. I've been to different places because my parents sometimes bring me with them during their business trips pero hindi naman ako makapasyal na talagang pasyal kasi wala naman ako makasama. I want to see the Taj Mahal in India, the Neuschwanstein castle in Germany, The Yellow Foliage in Nami Island, make a wish at the Trevi Fountain in Italy, witness the Northen lights in Iceland and cross the Great Wall of China without getting exhausted. Kasi super haba nun and for sure hindi ko pa nakakalahati, hihingalin na ko. And so much more. Basta yun na yun..."

"What about any plans in the future?"

"Simple lang din, to finished my Masters Degree in Cambridge, have my own hotel and restaurant, to marry the man I love, have 3 or 4 kids and to live happily ever after."
