Having a crush on someone who didn't know you existed was a definite pain. Frankie would know. Going to a large school wasn't always that cracked up to be, especially with four houses that usually didn't intermingle. However, in Frankie's fourth year at Hogwarts, that all changes.
It all started with an incredibly useless Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher that listened more to the lies told by the Minister of Magic than to a boy who actually had a lightening-shaped scar on his forehead put there by Lord Voldemort himself.
So, when Hermione Granger walks up to the Hufflepuff table and hints at a possible club of sorts that'll actually teach them how to defend themselves, Frankie and her friends say they'll be there. At that meeting, which was held in a very dirty place Frankie believes, she sits next to Ginny with a rapid heartbeat and sweaty palms.
With the constant pushing from her best friend, Frankie decides it's time to actually introduce herself to her longtime crush at the DA meetings. What she doesn't expect is for Ginny to come up to her first and compliment her on her Quidditch skills, undoing Frankie's composure.

— I also see Frankie as the Hufflepuff keeper. She has been the backup, but after the starting keeper graduated, Frankie steps you and kills it.
— Ginny has been insanely impressed by Frankie's keeper skills. I believe Ginny becomes a seeker for Harry in this year because of Umbridge, so she finally gets to play against her but she has watched her at previous matches
— Frankie is super awkward around Ginny that it makes her friends laugh at her afterwards. Frankie crushes hard on Ginny because in previous years they had classes together and Frankie just thought that Ginny was super cute and so smart, so it spirals from there
