I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy

Chapter 9

Sami's POV

I was slowly beginning to wake. I could hear voices around me. The voices belonged to Chase and his mother.

"What happened to her? Did you do this to her?" Katie was asking.

"No, we were at the beach and as we were leaving her step dad showed up. He was drunk and through a sick at her leg." I couldn't help but hear how drained and tired Chase's voice sounded.

"Where is he now?"

" I punched him and he fell to the ground, I left him there. He was already going to have a headache I just made it worse." he said proudly.

I slowing began to open my eyes, taking in a deep breath as the air filled my lungs. I tired to stand up and walk but all I felt was pain.

"Hey, take it easy. You will be in pain for a while." Chase Said. I couldn't help but look at him. His brown hair and his beautiful green eyes. Oh how i loved those eyes. I looked at those eyes and I turned to mush. I saw happiness and relief in his eyes. Only then did I realize that he too was looking into my eyes and observing me. I was in love with that moment so you can understand my disappointment when Chase's mothers phone went off. She left us and walked in the sitting room. My attention was back on Chase.

" It's good to see you awake, Sam." He Said. He leaned over my and kissed my forehead and left. I rolled over and fell back to sleep. But this time I was filled in happiness.

Chase's POV

I was so relieved to see her wake. We had been waiting an hour for her to finally come too. I looked into her eyes and I was no longer full of rage. I kissed her forehead and left her to rest. I have to admit I love seeing her sleep peacefully in my big warm bed. It was around midnight and it was a Sunday, so I wasn't surprised when my mother told us she had to go to work. I had a shower and dressed in my boxers and entered my room. I slipped into the other side of my bed and began to drift of into sleep. But not before I whispered to Sami goodnight.

"Good night Sam."

Sami's POV

Beep Beep Beep Beep.

Oh how I hate alarm clocks!!! I turned over to turn off that god awful object off when I nearly gave myself a heart attack. I saw Chase laying there in a deep sleep. No wonder he is always late for school. He sleeps through his ALARM!!! I turned my body to face him.

Poke....... " Chase" Poke.............. "Chase" Poke............

"what?" He groaned

"Turn off your alarm!!!" I yelled into his ear.

With a loud groan his banged his hand over the little clock and it shut up. I was more shocked to see him just roll back over and drape his hand across my waist pulling me closer to him. I couldn't help snuggle into his chest and lay there. He began to close his eyes when I said,

"Chase! We need to go to school."

"But its a Monday! I hate Mondays!!" he whined

"So do I, but you don't see me laying in bed." I argued

"We can change that." He said while adding a smirk to his face.

"what ever, I'm getting up and going to school. But feel free to just lie there!! NOT!" I said as I walked over to the drawer that now kept my clothes, and headed towards the shower. I welcomed the heat to my body. I felt all the stress wash away as I relaxed in the hot water. I washed my hair and turned off the beautiful water and stepped into the cold bathroom. I dressed myself in jeans, a dream catcher t-shirt and put on white converses. I exited the bathroom and I stood still as I saw Chase shirtless. AGAIN. I felt the air being taken out of my lungs as I stared at the magnificent body before me. He must off seen me drooling at his body because he quickly put a shirt on and moved towards me.

"Like what you see?" He said in his husky voice. Sending shivers down my spine. He became closer and closer to me. As I took a step back. He stopped moving towards me until be back was up again the door. I had been looking at my feet, until fingers gently pushed my face up to look at him.

"I don't want you to be afraid of me ok?" He Calmly "I'm not going to hurt you, I promise."

"I trust you." It was the only words I managed to say before a knock at the door broke the trans.

"Hurry up kids your going to be late for school!!!" Katie yelled

" One Minute!!" I yelled eager to get out the awkward moment. Chase just laughed and headed down stairs and waited for me in his car.

Driving to school, there was silence in the car. it was slightly awkward but then there was apart of it that wasn't awkward at all. As we arrived at the school I was greeted by stares burning a hole through the back of my head. I swang my leg out of the car and went to try and blend into the crowd when I felt a hand wrap it's self around my waist. I look up and see Chase with a yet again another smirk on this face. But it wasn't at the stares he was getting, it was at me and how i thought I could be under the radar. Yeah that plan flew out of the window.

As I entered the high school door I was left alone as I walked to my locker. I was stopped in my tracks my Erica Maxwell. I hated her. She was one of those girls that couldn't go a day without being in the spot light. Making everyone beneath her feel worth less. I was one of those people.

"Hey Dork, I gotta tell you something." She said while flicking her hair for the billionth time.

"what?"

"I want you to stay the hell away from Chase. He is mine!!! Not yours. why would he want you when he can have this." She said. Pointed towards her body. I was just about to open my mouth to defend myself when someone's voice beat me to it.

"YOU STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM SAMI! I WANT HER BECAUSE SHE IS NOW MY GIRLFRIEND AND IS MORE CARING AND MORE BEAUITFUL THEN YOU WILL EVER BE! SO DONT EVEN TRY TO THREATEN HER AGAIN OR YOU WILL ANSWER TO ME!" WOW he was pissed. He must of heard the conversation. Oh well I knew two things for sure. One - its going to be a very long day and second - Did Chase Matthews just say I was his girlfriend?
