Chapter27: not so ordinary day.

Jungkook's POV.. (finally!!)

Today's dance practice took a little longer than usual since we wanted to fix a few things in the choreography and our comeback is around the corner too.

Time passed quite fast, we ended up lying down on the hard floor of the practice room catching our breaths.

I almost forgot about y/n, until I noticed her in the corner of my eye as i was lying on the floor, she was leaning against the mirror wall behind her with her arms hugging her knees as her head slowly landed on her knees.

She looked so quiet and peaceful. I argued and debated with myself a lot until I decided to admit that I thought she looked cute.

I didn't notice I'd been staring at her for a while now until yoongi calling my name and nudged my shoulder.

I turned my head towards him as a response "what do you wanna eat? We're ordering food." yoongi asked.

The answer to his question didn't take long since I've been craving bibimbap.

"Bibimbap" I answered almost immediately.

I sat up from my lying position on the floor, i stood up slowly noticing how my muscles that were numb a few minutes ago started aching a little.

I walked towards her sleeping form and crouched down in front of her.

"Y/n.. wakeup" i said quietly to her.

I waited for a response then i pocked her upper arm and called her name again.

She lifted her head that was previously on her knees, her eyes still struggling to fully open so i waited.

"What?" She asked as she rubbed the sleep off her eyes.

I was confused for a split second then I realized i was smiling at her.

I can't imagine how creeped out she must've felt.

I wiped the smile off my face and stood back up and offered my hand to her to help her up.

She accepted it and let me pull her up.

We both didn't notice the rest of the members looking at us, even yoongi who was on the phone ordering food.

"What do you wanna eat?" I asked her ignoring their stares.

She seemed like she couldn't ignore their stares like i did so she replied with a whisper "I don't mind anything".

So far i know she's shy and gets embarrassed easily so I decided not to ask more "two bibimbap then" i said loud enough for yoongi to hear and add to the order.

Then we sat there on the practice room floor, y/n sat next to me and she only spoke when a question was directed at her, until the food arrived.

Like we usually are, we immediately brighten up and become active and lively at the sight of food.

Everyone got their food and immediately started devouring it, I didn't realize we were that hungry, it felt like the food we ordered wasn't enough.

I glanced towards y/n for a second. Apparently she too was starving, her shyness disappeared as she started eating.

I chuckled quietly to myself at how she just seemed like she didn't care about anything at that moment.

I couldn't help but think when will everything be back to normal and how it would feel like.

We're still in the same routine, until our comeback and tour starts.

We're doing the exact same things we do everyday but I don't know why it doesn't feel boring and monotonous this time.

I really don't know why.

The things that could be answers for this question have little to no effect on our daily routine.

Could it be y/n?

Her voice cut my line of thought, like she heard her name in my thoughts.

"Jungkook?" She almost whispered.

I turned my head in her direction waiting for her to tell me what she called my name for.

"What are you guys doing after this?" She asks in the same low volume she's been using lately.

"Everyone usually just work individually in their work rooms" I answered.

"Umm.. so.. what do i do then?" She asks hesitantly.

"I'll go to the recording room if you want to come with me, or you could go with anyone of the guys it's up to you" I shrugged as i said the last sentence.

She nodded slowly then continued eating.

In the recording room, sitting on the desk chair in front of the microphone.

I wanted to record a cover or just practice my vocals.

Y/n was looking around the room. The recording room is full of the most random things, sometimes we bring our things and just leave them here or in our practice room in case we need them while practicing but we just forget about them.

I did a few voice warm up exercises, then i began singing whatever song came to mind.

This time it was 'we don't talk anymore' by charlie puth.

I just kept singing with mu eyes closed but i was aware of the look of amazement on y/n's face.

When i was done I opened my eyes and pushed myself away from the microphone and turned the recorder off.

"Wow.." y/n's awed voice made me look towards her.

"You have a beautiful voice" she said smiling.

"Thank you" i smiled back at her.

"You guys dance so freaking well, it's almost unbelievable" she got more excited the more she talked which made me smile even more.

I don't know what i thought that moment but maybe I didn't want her to get bored and tire her out but I offered anyway "i can teach you if you want"

She gasped and nodded quickly "omg..will you?" She asked with her eyes wide.

"Yeah.. sure. I don't have much to get done anyway" i got up from the chair and out of the room, she followed me and i can very faintly hear her let out a squeak of excitement.

We walked back to the practice room with her practically jumping as she walked.

I couldn't help but think how cute she is when she gets excited.

We entered the now empty practice room and I turned around to face her
"ready?" I asked her with a confident voice and smile.

She nodded and clapped her hand once as she walked towards the center where i was standing.

"Ready" she exclaimed enthusiastically.
