You sit in your room in the Trancy mansion, bored out of your mind.
Alois refuses to let you go anywhere outside except the garden in back of the manor. You sigh, are you really engaged to someone like him?!
Talk about stifling....
You jump up and open the door. Maybe you can find Alois or one of the servants....
You take a few steps to the right. Is this the way you came?
Something feels off.
You go back the other way.
It feels like someone.... is watching..... you...
"H-hello?" you stutter.
Silence.
You shrug. Now... which way do you go?

Trust your instincts and all, right? Right. Go right.
You turn around a corner, and your nervous feeling disappears. Guess no one was watching you after all.
Suddenly one of the doors opens right into you forehead. "Ah- ouch." You fall backwards onto the floor.
"My Lady!" Claude hurriedly kneels in front of you. "Are you hurt?!"
You blush. "I'm alright... This is nothing."
Alois runs out into the hall. "Claude, you fool, what have you done to my [Name]?!"
Claude stands up. "Not a problem, the lady said so herself." He puts his hand out to help you up.
"[Name] is mine!" Alois pushes him out of the way and pulls you up forcefully, taking you in his arms.
You frown. "Seriously, Alois, I'm tired of this! Stop treating me like a prisoner! I don't know what I was thinking when we were engaged, but there is no way in the universe that I'm ever going to marry you!"
Alois goes rigid. "You... y-you don't mean that, right [Name]?"
Claude's lips twitch upwards.
You storm towards the entrance of the manor.
Or at least... where you think it is...
"No! [Name]! Please, don't leave me alone! Please!"
You stop to look back. Alois is on his knees, sobbing.
