Connor trailed after Tasha as she walked through the precinct like it was a regular day, sitting at her desk and ignoring the stares of her coworkers.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Tasha called out in a sing song type voice, not glancing away from her computer screen.
After a while Tasha let out a dramatic sigh, leaning back in her chair. "It's quiet... where is that loser who always picks on me? What was his name again? Starts with a G—"
"Gavin?" Connor asked, his eyebrows raised.
"Yeah! That!" Tasha snapped her fingers, "Where is he? I could use some hustle and bustle."
"He's in the hospital!" Hank said, shaking his head. "Because of you!"

Tasha smirked, "I did that? Please, we all know he deserved it."
"Look, kid, none of us like Gavin, but even I was going to go check on him. I think you need to apologize." Hank grabbed his jacket.
Tasha rolled her eyes, "Apologize? After everything he's done?! He's the one who harassed me! He's the reason I—"
Tasha stopped mid sentence as she noticed the pencil in her hand had snapped in two, and anger was building in her chest.
Both Connor and Hank watched her intently, noticing the emotion on her face.
It faded in an instance as she sighed, walking over to their desks.
"Fine. Lets go see Gavin."

When Tasha entered Gavin's hospital room, he stiffened slightly at the sight of her.
"Why are you here, Tasha?"
"Look, Gavin." Tasha sat in the chair next to his bed, looking at her hands. "I know I don't deserve it, but I'm sorry for what I did. I — I just, I wasn't myself."
"What the hell happened back there?" Gavin asked, watching her intently causing Connor to stiffen slightly.
"You know I'm a hybrid — cyborg — whatever you want to call it. It comes with its... disadvantages." Tasha slowly looked up at him, a sweet, doe eyed expression on her face. "It doesn't excuse what I did. I just wanted you to know I'm sorry."
As Tasha got up to leave, Gavin grabbed her hand, causing Tasha to smirk to herself before turning back to him with a small, fake smile on her face.
"Maybe when I'm out of here we can talk about ways you can make it up to me."

Tasha let out a soft laugh, pulling her hand away from his gently. "Fat chance. I'll see you at work tomorrow, Gav."
As she left the room, Tasha noticed both Hank and Connor staring at her.
"What? You wanted me to apologize."
"Apologize. Not flirt with him." Connor replied, a small frown on his face.

"Aw, I hurt your feelings." Tasha mused being rolling her eyes. "Get over yourself, Con. The sooner you do the easier all of this will be."
"I'm never going to stop."
"Then it will be a very long life filled of disappointment, Connor."
As Tasha turned away from them, she felt something in her chest.
