A/N: Y'all I'm on such a high right now! My Colorado Rapids played Boca Juniors, yes the Argentine team that Lionel Messi started at!
Our AMAZING ticket rep upgraded our seats. We were six rows away from the field. BOMB ASS seats. Best part was that my brother Tim Howard walked up the stairs right next to us AND THIS BITCH HANNAH MET HIM! I MET MY BIG BROTHER Y'ALL! I said "Tim!" and I held my hand out and he shook it! I told him I was a huge fan and he grinned and said thank you as he continued walking up the stairs! AMAZING!
Anyways, on go the game! This was Kellyn Acosta's first game in burgundy! And we had a lot of academy players in the starting line up, and they did really well! Sammy Vines really stood out to me. So glad he's back with the Rapids where he belongs.
The Rapids went down 0-2 in the first 15 minutes. They fought back 1-2 at half time. They scored again early in second half and kept it tied up 2-2 for the rest of the half. I thought that was it, but apparently there was a trophy to be won so they went to PKs! Colorado won 5-4!
It was by far the best game they played this season! So cool to have been there! I was deep in enemy territory surrounded by Boca Juniors fans on almost all sides. There were a couple other Rapids fans several rows up but not many. So that meant I had to be extra extra with my cheering. It was an amazing night! Now on to the update!
