BVB WAG UPDATE: HANNAH BEDAL AND CHRISTIAN PULISIC OPEN UP ABOUT THEIR PREGNANCY!

Hannah Bedal and Christian Pulisic announced just two days ago that they were expecting. They opened up their home yesterday. We got to sit down and talk with them about the pregnancy and the wedding.

Bedal and Pulisic recently moved into their new house that they had built just down the street from Marco Reus and his fiancée, Florence Wagner, Erik Durm and fiancée, Tam Piszczek, and Mario Götze and his fiancée, Ann-Kathrin Vida. Their house is lovely and decorated beautifully.

When we sat down with them, we were out back by their new massive pool. They enlisted Florida-based Lucas Lagoons to make their dream pool. Just beyond the pool is a full sized football pitch.

Pulisic and Bedal sat together on one of the large love seats. They both looked casual and comfy. Pulisic opted for shorts and a t-shirt while Bedal wore a pretty sundress. Pulisic kept an arm around Bedal's shoulders and a protective hand on her stomach. Bedal was just glowing as we talked.

Bedal laughed and said that she probably was pregnant when the rumours first started to float around at the end of November but she just didn't know yet since she had no symptoms and wasn't showing. Pulisic added they took five home pregnancy tests in the middle of December, and they all came back negative so they shrugged it off.

They didn't find out she was pregnant until they were on their family holiday vacation in the Maldives. She assumed she was about two months pregnant then which was confirmed when she came back to Dortmund. She's now about fourteen weeks pregnant.

When Pulisic asked if they knew when he captioned the picture of them 'Mom and Dad', they both laughed. He said he had no idea, but they all thought it'd be funny especially since they all agreed to turn off commenting on the pictures they posted from vacation.

"Yeah that was a pact we all made. We wanted to share, but we wanted to really enjoy the time together. We all agreed to turn off all notifications on our phones as well as commenting on our photos so we wouldn't be tempted to read them, because yes. We do read all the comments," Bedal explained.

I asked them about the timing of sharing with everyone that Bedal was pregnant, and Pulisic had a great answer.

"We clearly wanted to share with everyone because we are so excited. But we also wanted to wait a little bit. We decided to wait until the first trimester was over because that's the time when the most can go wrong. We're in the second trimester, and we couldn't be any happier."

I also asked about their wedding which they had planned for July and their plans for that.

"We are postponing the wedding. We're thinking probably the holiday break," Pulisic said looking at Bedal.

"That's what we've talked about. A July wedding with Baby Puli due in August is just a lot to handle. We do want our baby to be born in the US. So I will be moving back to the US in just a few months."

"We have a place in the States already to go. Or moms are looking forward to us being in the States more," Pulisic added.

"I think it'll be nice too. I mean I love Dortmund but there's no place like home," Bedal agreed leaning her head on his shoulder.

It was nice to see them so relaxed and just enjoying time together. We here wish them nothing but happiness as they prepare for Baby Pulisic!
