The Sangeet function was on full swing and everyone was enjoying. The hosts Raman ishita and Raj niyonika stood in a corner and looked around.

As the murthy and malhotra elders looked at how Alia and dhruv were showing their relationship publicly the thought of Manik and nandini came to their mind.

I : I wish Manik and nandini would also go official.

Raj : exactly so long we have been waiting for them to make our wishes come true. One we had when they had first become friends.

Nyo : I am sure they are coming closer. I mean it's not like how that think that we are blind and not notice.

Raman : as much as I am glad with this progress though I want them to take their time, date for a while anf be sure about this.

Nyo : true and this is one of the major reasons we haven't confronted them or tried to keep them away from the prying eyes of the media.

I : all we want is their happiness and it's a bonus if it's in them being together.

Raj : enough about them, today is another couple's day and we need to make sure they are happy.

They slowly left to mingle with the guests. It was true they wanted Manik and nandini to be together but that was to happen at their own terms. As long as they were happy and sure of what they were doing their parents weren't going to interrupt, just be patient rather.

Manik's eyes searched for nandini as she was smiling standing near the stage.

Before he could go towards her adi kept a hand on his shoulder garnering his attention. Adi looked a bit freaked out and immediately Manik knew this was something serious.

M : what happened

Ad : things have gotten out of hand.

M : what about

Ad : they bailed on us.

M : okay calm down. We can't let anyone know

Ad : yes but we need to do something otherwise everyone will know soon. And this is not something small

Just like manik was missing nandini she too wanted to see Manik. And when she had seen manik and adi together she had walked towards them. But since their backs were towards her, they couldn't see her, but she did hear their voice. Morning itself shivaay had said about Adi and Manik hiding something and now listening to their conversation did nothing but confuse her. She was sure of their capabilities and she knew eavesdropping never did anything good and maybe she was just reading the situation wrong. But still this did bring frowns to her face .but just as Adi saw her she brought her lips to smile .

N : it's you up next

Adi nodded and left, while manik looks at her.

M : so enough of talking to others that now you have come to find me.

N : just making sure everything was going fine

M : it is, u don't need to worry so much

N : right and anyways u will tell me if their is anything troubling right.

Nandini had a undertone to her voice and manik hestitaed before answering her. But still his face was convincing.

M : of course princess. Who else do I share everything with

Manik then held her hand and bringing it to his lips, kissed the back of it. Since they were in public and trying not to create buzz, kissing her lips were out of question. But none the less it did divert nandini's attention.
