Manik and nandini were lying on her bed, her head on his chest. His fingers were lightly playing with her hair.

N : we did not talk about Alia

M : I think that's enough talking for tonight

N : who is the one deviating now

M : well it's simple, she hates you and I hate her. Talk's over

Manik turned and looked at nandini, she was in his arms now. He kissed her nose and then her cheek trailing down towards her neck. when he was about to kiss her lips nandini put her hand on his mouth.

M : really

N : yes. We are still talking . And Alia doesn't hate me just dislike. We have different views and she doesn't like mine

M : why are you defending her princess

N : I am not. I am just telling you her point of view, so that you don't destroy your friendship with her

M : we weren't really friends to begin with. We just thought we were

N : you were friends, maybe not as good as you and adi are. But you still were. Now you are acting like she doesn't matter. you need to move past this manik. not for her but for yourself.

M : and what about you

N : Manik do you remember when I and harshad became friends. You hated him and he hated you. You never saw eye to eye and we're ready to kill each other if given a chance

M : it wasn't that bad

N : the point is I respected your opinion of him. but just because I loved you didn't mean I couldn't be his friend. and just because harshad dislike you, didn't mean he could not be friends with your girlfriend.

M : what's the point

N : in this case I am you, you are me and Alia is harshad. just because we aren't on good term does not mean you both can't be friends. So atleast try Manik to be like before ,whatever kind of friends you were. Maybe you can actually be friends for real this time because you know each other better now. You forgave Ruhi, Alia was just taking her side. Alia doesn't like my way of doing things and I don't like hers. So what. Not everyone in this world can be friends with everyone. But you and Alia can be, this is for Fab 5 as well.

M : okay imagine if Harshad had done something to hurt me and I was pretty devastated. Would you ever forgive him

nandini took a sharp breath and then buried her face in his chest. manik knew he was winning the argument

N : you should not be allowed to ask me that. But just so you know, I can't. Because whenever I would see him I would remmember what he did to you. Maybe with time but not very soon.

M : See. But just because you asked me and I can't deny anything to my princess, I will think about it. Now can we move past this

N : yeah, I think I will hold you on your not talking idea

Nandini then moved ahead and kissed Manik. Manik was eagerly responding back. And they did not just stop there.

Manik stayed the night and the love birds slept peacefully together.

Nandini's room

Nandini turned over to see Manik sleeping. He looked cute and she couldn't stop herself from kissing his cheek. Manik smiles and hugs her

N : good morning

M : good morning princess

N : I see u are still here

Manik groans and looks at her

M : how long do I have to endure these jokes about me leaving

N : hmm.. Let's see as long as we are together

M : forever then

Manik kisses her forehead lightly

N : considering u sneaked in last night, I think you should have gotten out before anyone sees you

M : well it's 7:15 ,so it's probably late for that.

Nanidni hums and lays upon manik, his hold on her tightening. They lie together for a while more and then Manik gets up to leave.

Nanidni is up to and walks him to her door. Manik kisses her by the door and as they turn they see shivaay looking at them unamused.

S : we certainly should talk about boys in my sister's room

N : bhai

Nanidni is struggling to find words while manik is blushing. He is unable to meet shivaay's eyes and nandini too is looking away

S : well go on, don't want to be late for college

M : right, I'll see you later princess

Manik then turns around and leaves and nandini still stands looking like a tomato

N : nothing happened

S : good to know. And to keep it that way, u are grounded. And manik is not supposed to be in your room, and if he is leave the door open

N : bhai u can't do this

S : I sure can

Nanidni then sighs and turns back into her room, but what she misses is the slight quirk of shivaay's lips, he was someone who really wanted manan to get together. And even though he is got to be responsible doesn't mean he can't be happy for them.

Space academy

Manik and nandini came to the college together and also had a good laugh about what happened today morning. There was a lightness in the atmosphere, since even though none of them ever spoke about it, the weight of the past was always on their shoulders.

Between talking to their friends, and adi teasing them about last night they went for their respective classes

Manik had been better towards Alia, atleast he said hello, and nandini did not expect anymore from him. All of them were getting along again, and this is time it was better because none of them was pretending.

As nandini walked out of her second class, a boy gave her an envelope and ran away. She opened it and saw a red heart with her name written. She was confused and then looked around. Her first thought had been Manik.

Nandini was elated today and nothing she supposed could bring her mood down. Well seems like she spoke too soon.
