Raman's cabin

Adi, nandini and Manik walked into the cabin to see shivaay, Raj and Raman looking at them with grave expressions. The atmosphere was tense and the tension thick in the air that it could be cut with a knife.

Raj : take a seat princess, and if manik and adi have this notion of using you as a bargain chip. Well let's just say you can't save them today

Nandini squeezes Manik hand in support and then took a seat. Manik and adi remained standing. All the eyes in the room were on them. It was the second time Mamik was in Raman's cabin and afraid out of his mind. Telling shivaay was one thing, they were close to him. Even if he shouted, he was going to help him they were sure. But there parents they never did spent much time with them. and being put on the spot like this was certainly excruciating.

R : you think you guys have grown up, can handle everything on your own. isn't it

Raj : no Raman they were just trying to handle the situation that weren't supposed to be handled by them. When you were told to work on this deal you were supposed to do the planning, management of finances, making sure the workers and appliances are effective. Not deal with the mafia. Your stupidity has not only cost this company but also put many lives in danger

They were certainly angry and every word made nandini wince. She never removed her eyes from manik and he was looking at her. Just looking at nandini made Manik strong enough to stand there.

Ra : don't forget you are working for this company not owning it. When anything goes wrong, you are supposed to tell that to your seniors . This is no child's play

Raj : but since you both don't seem to be able to get this, you are going to stop working until graduation. No more sitting in important conferences, meeting the partners or doing projects. It's just studying for you guys now

M : dad

Ad : uncle, please we have worked hard for the company. We will make this right. Please don't fire us

M : yes dad, you can give us any other punishment but not this. Please

Buisness was something that was in their blood, manik and adi had seen their parents and then shivaay reach great heights. They wanted to follow their footsteps. and this was going to be a major bump in the road if they weren't allowed to work in the company anymore

Raj : absolutely not

Sh: dad, uncle think about this, wasn't making them work in the company important for them learning buisness

N :don't let one mistake define them. Don't dreams away from them please

Well Raman and Raj could say no to anyone but how do they deny their princess. Nandini's face was so hopeful that the word no stuck in their throats . Nandini knew this and she might not be happy about taking an advantage, but when it came to manik. Like its said all is fair in love and war

Raman : fine, since manik and adi tried to manage the situation. and even though it was stupid on their part at least they were taking responsibility so for that I am putting you both under shivaay's wing .you do what he tells you to do ,only desk work. You are now going to learn buisness from him, not by trial and error, until I see that you have improved and are ready to handle independent project

Manik and adi nod is acceptance, this was good enough for them. Raj snorts looking at Raman

Raj : please , you are not giving them this chance doe to any good behavior on their part, but because princess asked you to. and you can't deny her

The atmosphere was turning light now. and Raj's joke certainly brought a little smile to everyone's face. All grown men in that cabin, yet not even one of them had the guts to say no to nandini. She truly was the murthy princess.

Ra: well then why don't you say no. Manik and Adi's project was a collaboration between our companies remmember

S : dad, uncle

Raj and Raman were playing the blame game like children.

Raj : fine, you guys can leave. and yes don't even try to do anything related to this project. shivaay will handle it.

They left immediately and their expressions were like as if they had come alive out of lion's den , and as soon as they were out nandini hugged them both tightly

M : well it wasn't that bad

S : and thank God for that. Because you idiots had made it that bad

Adi turned to look at shivaay

Ad : thank you bhai

M : and we are sorry for creating this mess in the first place

S : well like dad said, atleast you understand now. take a break for a few days. I'll call you guys to work under me when I find work suitable for you

Shivaay put pressure on the word under, highlighting it. Nandini laughs while both manik and adi sulk

N : bhai is so going to enjoy this

They all went down by the lift.
Shivavy went towards his cabin and adi to went to get the car.

Manik's hand had found nandini's as soon as they had left Raman's cabin. He brings it to his lips and nandini looks at him.

M : I wouldn't have been able to go through today without you. Thank you princess for being my strength

N : always Manik

She meant that, whatever it was she was always going to be there for him. She knew he would do it for her and today she proved she would too.

Nandini had been Manik's anchor today, his light in darkness. and he thanked God for her. He was grateful to have her standing next to him. and that moment Manik feel deeper in love with nandini.
