I know I said that I wasn't going to drop another chapter until I had more views but I already had a chapter made and decided to upload it.

Also this is really a filler chapter because I'm still deciding on what to do for the first date, which may or may not be in the next chapter

Isabelle POV

It was Thursday morning. I was deciding on what to make my brothers for breakfast when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I spun around to find Alec looking happily at me. That's weird, Alec is not someone who is usually happy. Maybe it's because yesterday he was let out of the infirmary.

"Hey Iz, can I tell you something?" He asked and I nearly screamed.

"Definitely. Spill" I demanded.

"Nevermind." He said and began to turn around.

"Nope. You are staying here and telling me whatever you need to. That's like a rule, you can't ask to tell someone something but say nevermind or later. It's disgraceful" I lectured

"Okay. Don't freak out but I have a date tomorrow. And I need you to take me shopping to find something to wear" he said. I froze. All of the words I wanted my older brother to say to me were just said, the only thing he left out was makeup.

"Earth to Iz" he said, waving a hand in front of my face.

"Sorry but literally everything I've ever wanted you to say you just did. I had to take a moment." I explained.

"Where are you going?" I asked

"He won't tell me. He only said was to dress comfortable and bring a change of clothes."

"By the way who is "he"?" I asked, very curious who could have actually gotten Alec to agree to go on a date.

"Magnus Bane" he said.

"OMG. Alec!!! Tell me everything"  I exclaimed.

"Iz." He complained.

"I'm not helping unless I know everything." I declared. His shoulders slumped in defeat.

"Well we kissed after you guys left to go get the rest of his money at the party. The next day I went to his house after work and got drunk. I stayed at his that ni-"

"Did you sleep with him?" I interrupted.

"Iz don't be so loud. No I didn't. I slept on his couch."

Alec's phone buzzed and he looked down at. A large smile spread across his face.

"What are you looking at?" I asked. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it and showed me his phone.

(Alec is Me and Magnus is Darling)

Darling: Can't wait for tomorrow 😘

Me: Where are we going?

Darling: That's for you to ask and me to know

Me: Ugh

Darling: Sorry not sorry. See you soon?

I finished looking through the texts Alec let me. " He is saved as Darling in your phone? That is so cute."

"He did that and I don't know how to change it back. It used to be Magnus" Alec explained but I didn't believe him.

"Are you going to text back?" I ask.

"I dunno what to say" he replies.

"Ugh. Give me your phone." I demanded. He handed it over.

Me: Sure I'll be over tonight. Just need some excuse to leave then Institute without being suspicious.
