you and finn were out watching a movie, probably something stupid per his request. you were enjoying some hot popcorn and candy, as well as the guy you were with. that guy is the one and only, finn wolfhard.

during the movie, you saw a few girls looking up at the two of you. normally you didn't think anything of some girls looking at finn, he was a celebrity. today, they wouldn't stop, you nudged finn and looked toward the girls.

"i have a plan, y/n" he whispered in your ear. "just trust me." you nodded and he put his arm around you.

"acting like this is a date, huh?" you tease.

"it will throw them off, might even tell them to fuck off if we're lucky." he smiled at you, you can tell why he's a famous actor, he's really good.

you look toward the girls again, the roll their eyes and look away.

after the movie, you and finn walk out hand in hand. you just know that the girls are going to confront you, they were whispering while looking at you during the movie.

"if they try to talk to you, just ignore them." finn whispers, "they aren't worth our time." you look at him and nod, his hand now around your shoulders as you put yours around his waist.

"so you fags together?" you hear one of the girls call out. "i won't leave you alone till you answer."

finn turns around, "yes in fact we are, now if you would leave us." finn starts walking again.

"you know what? i don't believe you. i want proof." the other girl sneers.

finn looks at you, "do you mind? if- if i k-kiss you?" you nod, feeling butterflies in your stomach. finn leans forward and you close your eyes, hoping the girls leave them alone.

the kiss wasn't bad, but it felt very forced. it was quick, more like a peck. finn kissed your cheek and looked at the girls with an annoyed face. "is that all?"

the girls look at each other, "yeah, we have all we need. thanks finn!"

"they definitely took a picture of that, didn't they?" you ask.

"yep."
