In that moment, my heart shattered into a million pieces. I wiped the tears that were beginning to roll down my cheeks. Starkeisha smirked to herself and I approached them, bopping her in the mouth.
She gasped, holding her mouth that had blood coming from it. I was about to walk past Jahseh but he grabbed me and looked me in my eyes.

I refused looking him in the eye and tried my best to get out of his arms. I pushed my way free and walked out the front door.
