17. Baby Shopping

Joel 💙

Tonight me and Joel are going to the mall to get some things for our baby boy. We haven't got anything so far and we should be making a start as you know we need to be prepared. We are going now as we've finished work. We will grab something to eat at the mall later. "Let's go, babe" Joel said. "Yep I'm ready" I reply. He takes my hand and we walk out the door and get in the car driving to the mall. Can't wait to start shopping. When we arrive we walk in and see where we come to first. "So where is good for baby stuff, babe?" Joel asks. "Carter's is a good place" I reply. "So let's go there first then" he said. We find where Carter's is and go there first. We are planning on getting smaller things today like clothes, blankets, bottles and stuff like that. So we go into Carter's and look at clothes to begin with. We pick out a few cute outfits for our baby boy. "We should get these for him" Joel said holding up a cute little pair of shoes. "Yep those are so cute. We'll definitely get those" I reply. We fill up the basket with more things. "This blanket is so soft" I say as we leave. "It is. You know it would be cute if we got his name embroidery on it once we decide it" Joel said. "Yeah we should. That would be a really cute idea, Joel" I say. We got this really good box of baby basic things like onesies, hats, bibs and pants for him which was really good. So we find another store to go in that sells baby things. We buy more things and then go for something to eat to finish off our baby shopping trip to the mall. We had a lot of fun

His POV

Me and Y/ N are on our way out to do some baby shopping for our baby son. We haven't really got anything so far so it's best to make a start. It's just Y/ N and I as Aaliyah is at nursery today. We know what we want it's nice a case of finding it and for reasonable prices too. Can't wait to get some stuff for our baby. We are on our way to Target first as they are good for strollers and cribs. Bigger things. We'll probably go to the mall after. We get in the car and we drive. "Have you got the list of what we need?" I ask. "Yes I have. Don't worry. I'm always more than organised, Richard" Y/ N replies. "I know you are, babe" I smile. Soon we pull up outside Target and head straight for the baby section. "Let's see what strollers they've got" I say. We start looking at the strollers and see a couple we like. "I think we should go for one with a built in car seat so we want use it when he gets older" I say. "Yeah maybe but I do like this one too" Y/ N said pointing to one of those carriage type of strollers. "I like this one though" I say. We agree between us to get the stroller with the car seat. Next we move onto cribs. We found one we like more or less straight away. It's a nice one and it's white. While we were at Target we look around at other things. Y/ N picks up a breast pump, pacifiers, bibs and some other baby things. When we've got everything we check out at the check out and then decide to go to a couple of places at the mall for some more things. Y/ N and I had a really successful day shopping at the mall for our baby boy

Erick 💜

Erick and I have decided to go out to do some baby shopping for our baby girl. We have been saving up since I found out I was pregnant. We are only getting smaller things as our budget isn't too big. The bigger things like crib and stroller I will be getting at my baby shower so we don't have to get that. We just want to get clothes and a few smaller things for her today. We've been out about an hour or so but we haven't really seen anything we want. I want sone cute and pretty outfits for our daughter. We find a nice baby store in the mall. I haven't come across it before. Must be new. "Looks like a good place" Erick said as we walked in. "It does. I think we'll find what we need here" I reply. I pick up a set of flowered onesies first that are cute. Erick sees an outfit that he likes so we get that. The prices are good here but we still add up as we go around. We find a couple of blankets and muslin cloths. Also more clothes too, bottles and pacifiers. We take everything to the check out and pay and the total was about $150 which is very good. Within our budget. "I love all the things we got for our girl. They are so cute and pretty. Can't wait to meet her now" Erick said as we leave. "I know. I definitely have to agree. Well done in choosing super cute outfits" I reply. "No problem. I can't wait to be a daddy" he said stopping to kiss me. So Erick and I move onto another place that sells baby things to carry on our shopping trip. We got some great stuff that we are really happy with. Can't wait to dress our baby girl in these beautiful things when she comes into the world

Zabdiel 🧡

Zabdiel and I are going out to buy some more things for our twins. We have made a little start and bought things like clothes and essentials. We've even been a stroller that we like that's getting delivered us to in the next few days. Today we are going out to pick some more things up so we can get the room ready if the twins decided to come early. That will probably most likely happened. We want to be prepared for the arrival of our baby girls. We are on our way to the mall now to do some shopping. Zabdiel is driving. "Can't wait to pick up some more things for our girls. Eeekkk I'm getting so excited to be a dad now" he said. "I know right. It's so exciting. I can't wait too" I reply. Soon we arrive at the mall and park up before we start looking round the mall. We went to Carter's last time but we want to go back today so we can see what else they have. We start looking round at the clothes. We are not necessarily going to get the girls matching outfits. They will have their own personality and individually as they get older. Zabdiel and I pick a few different outfits that are not the same but really cute. "You know, babe. We should get them done matching outfits too. They won't have to be the same but similar" he said. "Yeah I know we can. It will be cute but they don't have to dress alike all the time" I reply. "Yeah you're right" Zabdiel said. We carry on picking out outfits and other stuff we like too. We got a lot of things from Carter's that we took the bags back to the car before carrying on. We find another baby store to go to as we needed to look at cribs. "I don't really like those twin cribs that join together. I would prefer separate ones for them" I say. "Yeah I agree. They are a bit weird and we might not have room in the nursery so that all two separate ones it is" Zabdiel replies. So we opted for the separate cribs. Both are in the same colour cream. We get the cribs but they were too big to put in the car. My uncle has a pick up truck that we can use. Anyway Zabdiel and I had a really good time shopping today for our twin girls

Christopher 💚

Chris and I have been starting to get a few things for our baby. We don't know the gender yet so we are getting gender neutral things. We still want to get things ready and the nursery too even though we don't know that we are having a boy or a girl. It doesn't matter as long as things are ready for when he or she is here. Can't wait it's so exciting. Stroller and crib are really the only things we've got. We are going to buy clothes and things today which we can't wait for. Christopher and I go to Walmart first to see what they have there. Walmart and Target are good for baby things. So we walk in and head straight for the baby section. "So let's see what baby things they've got" I say. "Of course. Can't wait" Chris replies. So we look at the newborn gender neutral things. I pick up some gray and white onesies and bibs. We also look at the outfits. I see a cute gender neutral Dumbo outfit. A onesie with pants and a hat that I had to get. "Awww this is so cute. We need to get things. I love it" I say. "Yep it's really cute" Christopher replies. I find a few more outfits too. Chris pushes the cart as we head to the other side to see what they've got. We see a nice changing table that'll fit in the room and also a comfy chair for feeding that we decided to get. "Are we good or is there anything else you're wanting?" Chris said. "Ummm well we could probably get a breast bump and a baby bath while we are here. Those are on the list too. "Sure" he replies. We pick up those before going to the checkout and paying. We just about fitted everything in the car. We had fun unpacking and organising things when we got home. It's good to thing we've got quite a lot of things for our baby now
