Prologue

I am walking on the aisle over a huge wall. Just like in the great wall of China, but way smaller. Almost twenty feet high over the ground.

Holding my DSLR camera while roaming my eyes around. It feels like I'm in a place where two different times meet. Amazed. Wonderstrucked. I can see the well structured chambers built in colonial period and kalesas as way of transportation. On the other side are towering modernized buildings. Busy highways with vehicles lined up honking continuously.

Exhausted, I sit on the ground. Grazing my eyes through the vast field of healthy grass in front of me. Thinking in deep despair.

Eighteen is not a kid anymore. I'm about to face crucial years ahead. I'm now a grown-up who used to be a youngster, burden with tons of expectations and responsibilities and challenges and every problem universe can give. Play time is really over and it's time to write my own fate.

My problem starts with ignorance. I don't even know what to write. In my own story. I'm just a fish in a wild river. Letting the current take me. I don't even know where I'm going. All I know is I'm not stuck. Atleast, I'm moving forward.

The sun slowly goes down. I witnessed how the color of sunlight changes. Everything is covered with orange. Golden hour it is. It makes me more emotional. How the light gradually fades away.

It's time to go.

I stand and pause for a while. A final glimpse to the stunning sunset. About to leave when someone holds my hand. Flawlessly soft hand. Slowly grabbing my whole palm firmly.

Surprised, I turn my head. I see rosy cheeks, bushy eye brows and perfectly made eyes. Shining lips smiling to me. We looked at each other passionately and it lingers for awhile. He's beautiful.

And there I knew, where to start writing my own story. An unusual love story I never saw coming.

Thank you, Universe.
