Third person's POV.

Munaar stood there at the front porch clutching the paper bag and grinning like a maniac. Nour surely has strings attached to her heart. Strings only him could pull. For she'd never felt like that with any guy... Not even Aliko. Now that she thought of him, she wondered where he was, how he was. The last time she'd seen him was since graduation.

She's actually glad that they'd moved on, she isn't pining over her highschool sweetheart and she's happy about that. It shows she's growing up.

She stood still, in the serene silence of the night, lost in her thoughts until when she heard the familiar honk of Baffa's car. The security guard hurriedly opened the gates and in came the black Land cruiser Prado.

The car stopped by the front porch and Baffa who was sitting in the owner's corner stepped out. The driver then went to park the car in the garage.

Munaar rushed to her father, like the good old days. She wrapped her arms around his torso smiling cheekily. Her father was a very tall man.

"Oyoyo Baffa" she said. He boomed with laughter.

"Oh Dada am you'll never grow" he said shaking his head and placed his palm on the top of her head.

"Baffa I've grown fah..... Look I'm almost the same height as you" she said and they erupted with laughter.

"Kaii gonga on (that is true)... You're even taller than me" he teased her. She giggled and scowled playfully as they walked side by side into the house.

"How are you my dear?" He asked.

"I'm fine baffa... How are you?" She said taking a moment to look at him. He smiled making the sides of his eyes crinkle.

"I'm doing perfectly fine my dear, just a little tired" he said. Munaar smiled.

"You're old ai... And old people are always tired" she teased her dad and he feigned hurt. He shrieked.

"You're calling me old?...have you forgotten you're my mother? Which means you're older than me" He said with a smirk at her.

"Correction..... Your mother's namesake. Not your mother, I am not older than you" she said and he smiled. By now they'd entered the main family room where they met Maami, Adda Hafsie, the new twins, ZeeMaamah, her sister fadeelah, Adda sakeena (Hanma O's wife), her baby Malika, Goggo Fadimatu and her daughter Fawza. They were all sitting on different couches and chattering and Watching Tarkon Kauna A Turkish series translated into hausa on Arewa24 channel.

Munaar quickly sprinted upstairs and kept the paper bag in her closet as she wasn't ready to answer any questions that may be thrown her way if her family see her with the bag. She sprinted back downstairs unnoticed.

Adda Hafsie was sitting on an ottoman suckling Yasser as a Henna artist applied henna on her feet. The young women had some yellowish paste rubbed on their faces. The traditional kurkum paste.

They were all getting ready for the grand naming ceremony that was tomorrow. A lot of people have been invited as this was the first grandchild coming from Hafsah Bawuro.
