"Never love anyone that treats you like you're ordinary."
Oscar Wilde

Harry and Louis have been together for four years. Four years. That's a long time. It's not like Harry is rushing anything by doing this. Louis just needs a little push, a shove in the proper direction. They're buying an apartment together when he gets back from Ireland; they're committed. Just... not in the traditional sense.

Harry is twenty five, and he isn't engaged. He has a boyfriend of four years, and he's in love, but he isn't engaged, which is what he wants to be, which is why he decides to follow his boyfriend to Ireland and propose to him. He has it all planned out. He's going to make reservations for a cute restaurant in Dublin, he isn't sure which one quite yet. (Bear with him, he just decided he was going half an hour ago.) He's going to surprise Louis at his hotel, where the convention he's attending is being put on. They're going to kiss like in the movies, and then they're going to go to dinner. Harry will propose there.

His plans are perfect, and nothing is going to ruin them. Not even a little turbelence or a snotty Irish pub owner can thwart him. He's going to be engaged by the end of the weekend. He just knows it.
